Teyone Store AcroTO brings together the practices of yoga, acrobatics and thai massage, performed with a partner or in a group.

Acro allows you to explore the mental and physical benefits of working as a group, physical contact and play; a practice that can help build trust and help one let go of inhibitions. We explore L-basing and belly basing techniques on the ground as well as standing acrobatics and dance lifts. AcroTO was founded in 2016, and is the recipient of the MEC Outdoor Nation grant to host Canada’s very firs

t AcroCamp, a weekend long Acro intensive in the great outdoors. This will take place in Rock Glen Falls, Ontario, in August 2017. We host weekly jams every Friday night at Pursuit OCR (http://pursuitocr.com/) as well as workshops with some of the greatest international Acro instructors, including Max & Liz in May 2017. Why couldn’t we have been raised on stories where women empower each other & lift each other up? Why were we only told fairytales where we had to wait for Prince Charming to come along and rescue us?
It is in our nature to persevere, to become leaders and nurture each other. We do not need rescuing. We are born resilient & fierce and capable of anything we dream of.
So let’s teach our young woman just that; to build each other up & support the other strong women around them. This was never a competition, it’s always been a collaboration.
