Niagara Home Builders Association The Niagara Home Builders’ Association is a network of professionals who work together to serve and promote the residential building industry.

Organized in 1955 members include new home builders, developers, renovators, suppliers, supplier/trade contractors, manufacturers, and allied professionals. Niagara Home Builders’ is a volunteer association actively involved in all facets of the new home construction and residential renovation industry. Committees are organized to represent the interests of the association related to building an

d development issues. We work to provide members with opportunities to learn, grow and take pride in their achievements. Niagara Home Builders’ Association members are also members of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association and the Ontario Home Builders’ Association, which enables us consultation with governments at all levels on policies, programs and legislation that affect the industry and consumers. The Association’s monthly dinner meetings, annual events, committees and volunteer opportunities to build a business network to share a commitment to long term success in the residential construction industry – the people you want as part of your team. Today, as a result of commitment, members have a respected voice in the industry.

NHBA Calls on Niagara Municipalities to Act on Housing Affordability

Today, the Niagara Home Builders’ Association sent letters to all Niagara municipalities, urging them to submit applications to the recently announced Development Charge Reduction Program (DCRP) before the June 19, 2026 deadline 📝

This program presents a significant opportunity for municipalities to secure funding for critical growth-related infrastructure while reducing development charges that add to the cost of new homes 🏠

Every child deserves to start the school year with the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed. With your help, we can make sure local students head back to class feeling confident and prepared 🚌✏️🏫

A great day at Queens Park with the Ontario Home Builders' Association - consisting of meetings with over 18 Ministers in Ontario.

We are seeing changes to our industry and things are moving in the right direction to help affordability, reduce red tape, expand infrastructure and financing tools and ultimately keep our skilled trades right here in Ontario.

NHBA Chair Kelly Anderson joined by CEO Chuck Mcshane and fellow board member Jon Whyte, sat down with various Ministers to discuss these challenges.

Special thanks to Minister of Red Tape Reduction Andrea Khanjin, Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism Graham McGregor and Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Rob Flack for their time.
