March Break Camp was one to remember! ☀️✨

We packed the week with so many amazing activities including cooking and baking, creative art and colouring, DIY cars, science experiments, and even making slime at Let’s GLOW Crazy! 💚

We stayed active with yoga w/ Healthgirl, Wii games, bowling, and a trip to the wave pool, and also enjoyed a visit to the library and a cozy movie time to wind down. 📚🎬

One of the highlights was our St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt, so much fun and teamwork! 🍀

So many smiles, laughs, and new memories made this week. We’re already looking forward to summer camp! 💫

This March Break, participants at The Brighter Horizons Program (BHP) took the lead in creating a special commercial all about what makes camp so meaningful to them.

Through their own voices, they shared what they love most about BHP, from friendships and fun activities to the sense of belonging they feel each day. They also gave us a glimpse into what they’re most excited for this summer, including outdoor adventures, creative projects, and making even more memories together.

This project highlights the heart of our program: participant voice, choice, and community. Everything you see and hear was created by the participants themselves, making it a truly authentic reflection of what Brighter Horizons is all about.

🌟 March Break Camp – Spots Still Available! 🌟

March Break is next week, and we still have a few spots available at The Brighter Horizons Program in Wi******er, ON!

We have spaces available for 4:1 participants each day, as well as limited 1:1 support spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner you reach out, the more likely we will be able to accommodate your participant.

Our program focuses on community outings, recreation, life skills, and social opportunities in a supportive and inclusive environment for youth and adults with developmental disabilities.

🎶✨ Something fun for singers in our community! ✨🎶

The Jingle Jangle Choir is starting up soon — a holiday choir for individuals with developmental disabilities in North Grenville.

📅 Practices begin: Thursday, September 11
🕓 Time: 4:00–5:00 PM (every Thursday)
📍 Location: Workshop Dance Studio — 215 Sanders Street, Kemptville

They’ll be learning Christmas songs and performing at the Urbandale Theatre in early December, with all donations from the concert going to a local charity.

🎤 Open to high school aged and older — all skill levels welcome!
ℹ️ Please note: There are no supports in place at choir practices, but caregivers are welcome to tag along — and sing too! 🎵
