Dodgeball Canada's Club Championships are set up in a way that when the pool play dust settles and all pools merge into a massive, single-bracket playoff, the math points to a collision course. Since every team makes the cut, the pool stages are strictly about survival and seeding... nobody wants to draw against the heavyweights!

Sitting at #2 on the continent with 4730, New Era is the PWR King of this tournament field, currently outscoring Saiyan Elite by nearly 1,500 points. Considering both these clubs did make it to the Final within the past two years along with Mavericks and Hard as Foam, that could very well be the 2026 Final preview.

Fury (2970), Mavericks (2920), Hard as Foam (2800), and Howl (2800) are separated by a microscopic 170 points. If these teams collide in quarters or semis, it will be the highest-level dodgeball of the weekend.

Royals (2480), Dark Horse (1580), Apex (1355), and Future (1240) are perfectly positioned to play spoiler. A single upset in the Ro16 could completely shatter the expected bracket and clear an unexpected path to the finals. For the teams at the bottom of the math, like Mamba, Riptide, and Vendetta, a low seed guarantees an early date with the Top 10 titans, so it's best to win some of those pool matches to prevent having to pull off a miracle run to stay alive.

Dodgeball Canada's Club Championships women's division are structured as a combined single-elimination tournament following a pool play stage to determine seeding. The top four seeds are rewarded with a first-round bye, moving directly into quarters while the remaining teams fight through an opening knockout round to join them.

Valkyrie, as expected, enters this field as the undisputed apex predator. With a massive 7200 PWR, they are nearly 3000 points clear of the 2nd rank (fun fact, Kaffeine & Co ended their year-long undefeated streak at Kickoff) Their bracket journey is essentially a "gold to lose" scenario, as they currently hold three separate scores (two 2000s and a 1200) that each nearly equal the total PWR of the bottom half of this list.

The most intense friction in the bracket lies between Rogue and Reckless. Even though the spread is over 1500, these 5 all have good chances to make it to the Finals, as they have multiple times elsewhere in the past year. While Rogue has the upperhand, Kaffeine & Co also has that 2000-point Major win that proves they have the ceiling to take down anybody in this field if they find their rhythm early.

Riot, Nightmare, Bloom, and PAN!C are clustered in a dangerous "spoiler" zone. Nightmare and Bloom are separated by a microscopic 20 points, making their potential head-to-head in the playoffs on Saturday one of the most evenly matched games of the weekend. These four teams have enough Top 20 experience to make the heavyweights sweat in the quarters (even though they say they won't be sweating in the comments below)

Armada and Requiem may sit at the bottom of this specific target list, but they are both solidly within the North American Top 40. While the math says they face an uphill battle against the Top 10 titans, their scores show they are capable of consistent 480-point performances, enough to capitalize on any Top 10 team that comes into pool play looking past them.

Since every team makes the cut, the pool stages are strictly about survival and seeding... nobody wants to draw against the heavyweights!

The Pandalorians have a Provincials 1st, resulting in 1000 of their 1480 points, but even though they're number 1 on this list, a Provincial 2nd would have locked them into that 60-point "Dead Zone" with Northern Touch, Rejects, Impact, and Tyro. Based on this, head-to-head games will be the highlight of the pool play. If Impact or Tyro can capitalize on their 600-point potential early, they could potentially steal the silver seed from Northern Touch, or even leapfrog the pandas.

The mid-bracket area featuring Notorious, Melee, Frenzy and Vortex is separated by only 145 points. It’s the most volatile part of the bracket; many feel any of these guys can get a single win against those top teams and cause a total collapse of the expected standings.

While a lot of the teams listed at the bottom may not have enough recent results to show where they truly could be on this rankings sheet, that will make a lot of the final combined standings completely unknown. Tier 2 will be interesting!

Reign enters the fray as the definitive frontrunner. While they don’t have a single "Major" score above 5th place, their consistency is unmatched in this group, boasting two separate 600-point performances in the Fall.

While Wildfire could be a dangerous team on the board with 1000 points from Provincials, Ragnarok, Piece of Cake, Beyond, Phoenix, and Eclipse are separated by only 215 points. This is the section of the bracket where pool play results will matter most. Eclipse and Phoenix are separated by a microscopic 5 points, so if they meet in the playoffs, it'll be FIRE.

For the teams at the bottom of the math (Crush, Luna, Sirens, Current and DinoTrix) the start of the tournament could be about securing that one big upset to climb that standings ladder quick. Crush has shown 600-point potential in the past (screwed over by the x0.5 single-event modifier) meaning they have the raw power to potentially disrupt the mid-level teams if they are overlooked before their opponents are truly warmed up.

The Thing is going to be a heater this weekend. Anything can happen. Anyone can win. Here is the PWR Level Analysis for the clubs that are participating!

The Men: Headlined by an unbelievable milestone: Outsiders have hit the absolute ranking ceiling with a mathematically perfect 8000 PWR, nearly doubling the score of the #2 team.
Beneath them, the race for second is intensely tight as the 3000+ club, featuring New Era, Saiyan Elite, Hex, Shred, and Mavericks, battles for elite positioning.
Just below them, the danger zone is defined by a razor-thin 335-point spread separating Hard as Foam, Royals, Howl, and Fortune, guaranteeing a bloodbath in the mid-card brackets.
Rounding out the field are Misfits and Grizzlies, two dangerous underdogs who possess the raw talent to punch up, but who will need to catch fire to survive this heavyweight gauntlet.

The Women: This incredibly top-heavy bracket is dominated by Flex and Kaffeine & Co, both operating in their own 4000+ point stratosphere at the top of the rankings.
Just beneath them, provincial rivals Rainbow Thunder and Rogue are locked in a vicious 40-point grudge match that could flip their rankings at any moment.
The middle of the pack is a true "Group of Death" logjam, where Invasion, Frenzy, Rack Attack, Aggression, and Outsiders are stacked so closely that any team could realistically upset the others.
Meanwhile, elite-tier threats Riot and Fang face a brutal uphill battle, forced to play flawless dodgeball to survive a pool overflowing with titans.

It's going to be an exciting weekend, and we cannot wait to bring you the action!

A message about Dodgeball Canada & Dodgeball.LIVE

After a great deal of thought, we have made the difficult decision to step away from our current working relationship with Dodgeball Canada.

This is not something we say lightly.

For nearly a decade, our organizations have grown alongside one another. In many ways, Dodgeball Canada helped shape what Dodgeball.LIVE became, and we are deeply grateful for the support, trust, and opportunities that relationship provided over the years. Together, we helped bring Canadian dodgeball to wider audiences, created memorable broadcasts, highlighted athletes and stories that deserved to be seen, and contributed to what has become a much more visible and connected sport than when we first started.

We are incredibly proud of that.

For a long time, our missions were closely aligned. We shared a belief that the sport deserved better visibility, better storytelling, and better coverage. That alignment led to a lot of meaningful work, and some of the most important moments in our company’s history.
In recent months, it has become clear that the direction Dodgeball.LIVE is working toward, and the direction Dodgeball Canada currently needs from a media and production partner, are no longer as aligned as they once were. This was not for lack of effort. Over the past while, there were many conversations and genuine attempts to find a structure that could preserve the relationship and still serve the community well, including offers from us to produce major events at no cost.
We explored multiple models we believed could still be sustainable for everyone involved, but ultimately, despite those efforts, it became clear that we were no longer building toward the same version of what this partnership needed to be.

That happens sometimes — even in relationships built on good history and mutual respect.

As difficult as it is to say, this means that an era is coming to a close. Producing events like Clubs under the Dodgeball Canada banner has been a major part of our journey, and it is not lost on us what that chapter has meant to our team, and to many of you who have supported us along the way.
At our core, Dodgeball.LIVE still believes deeply in the same mission that started all of this: to grow the sport, to share it with more people, and to make high-quality dodgeball coverage as accessible and sustainable as possible for the community.

That mission has not changed.

We remain committed to finding sustainable ways to bring dodgeball to the world, while continuing to support the athletes, organizers, and communities that make this sport special.
We also want to be clear that the Provincial Sport Organizations and partners who previously benefited from discounted access under the Dodgeball Canada agreement will not be left stranded. We will be reaching out directly to organizations that may be affected so we can discuss new arrangements with anyone interested in continuing to work together.
Finally, we want to sincerely thank everyone at Dodgeball Canada — past and present — who has been part of this chapter with us. There is a lot of history here, and a lot we will always appreciate.

We genuinely hope this is not a forever goodbye.

Sometimes partnerships end not because the work was unimportant, but because both sides are trying to build toward different futures.

And no matter what comes next, we will always be proud of what we built together.
