What an incredible experience! 🏅

The Markham Pan Am Centre was honoured to host the Toronto 2026 JCC Maccabi Games, welcoming talented athletes, dedicated coaches, passionate volunteers, and supporters from around the world.

From August 3rd to the 6th, our venue was filled with inspiring performances, comradery, and the true spirit of sport.

We’re proud to have been part of this remarkable event and look forward to welcoming more unforgettable moments to the Markham Pan Am Centre.

In case you missed it:

On July 13, 2026 The Canadian Tamil Congress held a press conference here at the Markham Pan Am Centre announcing that Tamil Fest 2026 will be coming to Markham August 22-23, 2026.

Mayor Frank Scarpitti was here and delivered an energetic and inspiring address, expressing his excitement about welcoming Tamil Fest to Markham.

We are proud to have hosted this conference, and we wish them a successful Tamil Fest.

Starting Tuesday, September 3, 2024, there will be changes to parking access at the Markham Pan Am Centre to prioritize parking for Pan Am Centre users and visitors.

Corporate Security and By-law Officers will be managing entry to the Pan Am Centre parking lot and ensuring compliance with the new parking guidelines.

Staff and students of York University Markham Campus and Bill Crothers High School are encouraged to use their designated parking lots, including the new Re*****on lot at 436 Enterprise Blvd.

Meet Karen Jackson! A badminton veteran who has been playing for 50 years, and at 80 years old, was the oldest to compete at the recent 2024 Yonex Badminton Masters Championship (her 34th time!), this past weekend at Markham Pan Am Centre! Capturing the bronze medal in mix doubles, Ms. Jackson boasts that she had to compete with athletes 10 years her junior and still managed to walk away with some hardware!

We had the pleasure of chatting with Ms. Jackson and captured it all on video! Her laugh is contagious and you can feel the passion she has for the sport of Badminton and why she describes it as her sport for life!

FINALS are on at the 2024 Yonex Canadian Masters Markham Pan Am Centre! Athletes aged 30+ hit one or more of 8 competition and 2 warm-up courts laid on our gymnasium floor as they smash and rally for their spot on the podium! Action continues all afternoon if you are looking for something to brighten up your day on this dreary Saturday! There is some excellent skill on display!
