What to do with bulling
Stay Calm and Confident:
Try not to show you are upset, as anger can make the bullying worse.
Be Assertive: Look the person in the eye and firmly say "Stop it" or "I don't like what you are doing".
Walk Away: Immediately leave the situation, join a group of friends, or move to a safe, crowded area
Report It: Tell a teacher, parent, or trusted adult immediately.
What Bystanders Can Do
Don't Join In:
Do not laugh or encourage the bully.
Support the Victim: Be kind to the person being bullied, sit with them, and include them.
Speak Up: If safe, tell the bully to stop.
Report It: Tell an adult, as victims are often afraid to report, and your intervention can make a difference.
What Adults (Parents/Teachers) Can Do
Listen and Support:
Create a safe space for children to talk and feel heard.
Implement Policies: In schools, foster a, school-wide plan that encourages healthy, respectful relationships and consistent, firm consequences for bullying.
Encourage Hobbies: Help kids build self-esteem and make friends through sports, arts, or clubs.
Model Kindness: Demonstrate respectful behavior and healthy conflict resolution skills.
