The last few weeks have been eventful for Trail RFC.
Our first 2 league games against the Elk Valley Bulls and the Rouges
📍A 1 - 1 season For the Women's team and a 0 - 2 season for the Trail Men so far, they're getting stronger every game.
💥We're looking forward to our next Home Game in 3 weeks, Saturday July 11th.
After that we're on the road for our next 2 games, so come on out and support your local rugby team 💪🏉💥

The bus is loaded, the boots are laced, and it's time to hit the road.

Tomorrow, Trail RFC travels to Cranbrook to battle the Rocky Mountain Rogues with matches that promises big hits and fast rugby. 💪🔥

Ringing in the season with some community rugby fun!

Come down to meet the club and play some friendly non contact rugby.. we are sure you'll fall in love!

We will be running a BBQ as well with all proceeds going towards our junior and adult teams.

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us in our match against the ! 🏉 The energy on the sidelines was incredible, and we truly appreciate our amazing fans.

The rugby action doesn't stop there! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 30th—we are hosting our Community meet the club BBQ & Touch rugby Event! Whether you're a seasoned player, a loyal supporter, or completely new to the game, we’d love to see you there for some social touch rugby, great food, and even better company.

Our Trail RFC men and women are taking the pitch this Saturday, May 23rd. The Elk Valley Bulls are coming to town, and it's bound to be a fantastic day of hard-hitting Kootenay rugby.

Whether you're a lifelong fan or completely new to the sport, come down, grab a spot on the sidelines, and cheer on the squads.

Pre-season has wrapped up and the energy is building 🔥🏉

In April, our men’s side hit the field against Salmon Arm and Penticton, while our women teamed up with Flathead Rowdy Ruckers for an awesome weekend at Rucking in the Rockies. Huge battles, great rugby, and even better community.

Two clubs, one squad 💥
The Trail women are joining forces with Flathead for a fun-filled day at Rucking in the Rockies — building connections, playing hard, and growing the women’s game. Let’s go! 🏉🔥

I started playing rugby in Grade 10 after getting recruited by a couple of Grade 12 players after school one day, and I’ve been hooked ever since. What I love most about the game is the camaraderie, and how battles on the field always turn into friendships off it.

I’ve played for the J.L. Crowe senior boys team, the Trail Colonials, the Meraloma Rugby Club in Kitsilano, and now Trail RFC. Looking ahead, I want to see Trail RFC continue to grow, supporting higher-level competition and one day having a clubhouse of our own.

For younger players or anyone new to the sport: train hard, take care of your body, and never skip cardio… or beers after a match.
