Trials will take place at St Patrick’s School, 49 Felstead Ave, Toronto on Monday, March 30th from 7:30PM – 9:30PM. Check in 7.10PM.

Toronto Irish Football Club is hosting a small memorial tournament to celebrate the life of our player, Serge Leshchuk. The event will be held at Lamport Stadium on Saturday October 4th between 6-8pm.

The tournament will consist of 4 teams with 3 games each. Friends, family and players from outside our club are welcome to take part, so if you have an interest and would like more information please let us know.

For those who would like to join as a show of support, we will have music and games for everyone to be involved such as crossbar challenge and keep up contest.

We are working as best we can to find anyone in a position to help donate towards or sponsor the event with all proceeds going to the Go Fund Me set up to support his family and their child.

We truly appreciate the support from the football community around Toronto and hope to see you out for the event. ☘️

Toronto Irish Football Club are deeply saddened to share the news of the sudden passing of our teammate and friend, Sergiy ‘Serge’ Leshchuk on 20 August 2025, at the age of 36.
 
Born in Kyiv and making Toronto his home, Serge embodied the spirit of generosity, kindness and team camaraderie.
 
Serge joined Toronto Irish at the start of this season and quickly became a central member of our MJ Central team. His passion for football and his unwavering commitment to our club inspired all who had the privilege of sharing a pitch alongside him. Serge’s larger than life presence lifted everyone around him.
 
Serge recently shared the news that he was going to become a father in the new year adding another level to these tragic circumstances. Everyone associated with Toronto Irish Football Club extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to Serge’s fiancé Kelly, his parents Viktoriya and Sergiy, family and friends at this difficult time.
