We are so excited for the new Feel and Timing Webinar happening on December 6th

Why Feel & Timing Matters: Feel & Timing are the secret keys to unlocking a deeper connection with your horse, both on the ground and in the saddle. Imagine refining your cues, understanding your horse's feelings, and navigating every interaction with unparalleled precision.
From Lindsey Partridge - founder of Harmony Horsemanship
"Often when I am coaching people with their horses, I notice that they understand the exercise, but the frustration and reaction they are getting from their horse is a lack of understanding with feel and timing.
If you are asking in the wrong moment, without the feel, or the timing that your horse wants, then often the horse becomes grumpy, loses motivation, or shows signs of irritation like swishy tail, pawing, or even pinning ears and nipping at your.
I really want to help everyone to learn about feel and timing so you can apply it to whatever exercises you are working on. We are filming some exercises ahead of time so you can see examples of what really helps both for on the ground and in the saddle. We are definitely starting with one of my favourites "following hands" because it truly makes a huge difference at helping your body feel how the cue needs to travel through your body.
I love breaking complex topics down into to simple easy steps to follow and this one is going to be a real treat. My husband, who is not a horsey person has helped me demo some exercises - so you really get to see the awkward stiff not following horseman (well he is more of the tractor man) transform before your eyes.
I am putting this together with our live interaction - so we tune in live together, I answer questions - and ask you questions about what you are challenged with so I can tailor the webinar to you with specific exercises. I have lots of exercises ready to show you as videos (which I keep them short and clear so you can learn). This webinar is going to be so packed with exercises and things to try - knowledge to know that I look forward to your feedback about how it helps - this is my first time ever offering a virtual "Feel and Timing Webinar."
I have taught these exercises in person across the globe with amazing success and progress from the clinic participants - and I am here to help you virtually do the same. Because this is my first time teaching this topic in a webinar and I am not sure how many questions or clarifications you'll need, if we run out of time, or you need more help - we will add a 2nd date so we can keep the progress going and solve any challenges that came up."β
Tips to Incorporate Feel & Timing into Your Horsemanship:
- Groundwork Awareness: Develop a keen awareness of your horse's energy, attention, and desires during groundwork exercises. Respond with the right feel and timing to make requests that your horse is ready and willing to try.
- Communication without Whips: Learn with Harmony Horsemanship's approach, which avoids using whips in introductory training. This helps you become more aware of your own energy and language without introducing unnecessary tension. Harmony Horsemanship loves to say "Do more with Less" because the fewer tools you use like whips, ropes, or artificial aids, the more you develop your own body language, energy, feel, and timing.
