What a whirlwind Destination NARSA 2026: Nashville has been.
From the minute we all boot scoot boogied into the city, Nashville embraced us and set the tone for an unforgettable event.
Thank you to Scott, Derek, Davie, and Mark. Four genuine legends who gave us their time, their stories, and their humour. They brought the revolution era back to life with tales many of us had never heard and kept the banter flowing from start to finish. They made every supporter feel part of something special.
Rangers Historian, David Mason’s Story of Rangers presentation was outstanding and took us on a trip through time in a way we have never experienced before. If you ever have the chance to see it, make sure you do.
Rebecca Auchterlonie and Stuart Hay were everywhere throughout the event. Two massive Bluenoses with energy and enthusiasm that matched the size of our club. Nothing was too much trouble, the music was spot on, and Stuart kept everyone laughing both on stage and off it. He now heads home to resume his tour of The Journey Back, which continues to go from strength to strength.
Danny Magic added something completely new on Thursday night. Calling them tricks would not do them justice. He baffled the entire room and delivered a brilliant start to the event.
Your NARSA Board has been working at full speed since the day Nashville was announced and pushed even harder throughout the event to make sure everything ran smoothly. We hope we succeeded and exceeded your expectations, because delivering an experience worthy of our support is always our goal.
Last, but definitely not least. A special thank you to Jim Gillespie, Fraser Thornton, and Greg Marshall. Three real Rangers men who represented the club with professionalism and passion. Their candor and honesty during a challenging period were appreciated by everyone. They gave us confidence that Rangers is in strong hands and their openness provided real optimism for the future. No topic was off the table and the Q&As were guided with the usual skill of our MC, David Edgar.
It has been a privilege and an honour to host you, the lifeblood of NARSA, along with your families. We hope you have had a fantastic time and we look forward to announcing, in due course, where we will gather for Destination NARSA 2027.
WE ARE THE PEOPLE. THEN. NOW. FOREVER.
