Wishing Dr. Kaleb Dahlgren all the best in his next chapter!

While we’re definitely sad to see Kaleb go, we’re excited for him as he relocates and continues pursuing the next stage of his career in Chiropractic Neurology while working in hockey.

Over the past year, Kaleb has brought a tremendous amount of passion, energy, and care to Helix and to the patients and athletes he’s worked with. It’s been a pleasure working alongside him, mentoring him, and watching him continue to grow as a sports specialist clinician.

Kaleb, thank you for everything you’ve brought to Helix. We’ll miss having you around the clinic, but we’re excited to see where this next chapter takes you.

Dr. Jason is a board-certified Sports Specialist Chiropractor and founder of Helix Performance, with over 15 years of hands-on experience helping athletes, artists, and high-performing professionals move pain-free, train smarter, and unlock their full potential. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic at CMCC, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada), and holds a Master of Science, researching concussion risk factors in the NHL and long-term athletic development. Jason is certified in advanced soft-tissue and movement-assessment methods, integrating hands-on work, neurofunctional rehab, and patient education into every session.

As a trusted consultant to hockey and basketball agencies, as well as recording artists and performers in the music industry, Jason’s clients benefit from accelerated recovery, reduced injury risk, and optimized health—so they can consistently perform at their best. Welcome to the Helix Performance Team, Dr. Kaleb Dahlgren!

We’re thrilled to welcome Sports Specialist Chiropractor Resident — Dr. Kaleb Dahlgren, DC, MSc (Cand.), BCom — to the Helix Performance family!

Kaleb is a nationally recognized emerging clinician who blends advanced sports science with real-world athletic experience to help athletes and high performers reach their peak potential. A former U-Sports hockey player and #1 bestselling author of Crossroads, Kaleb’s journey of resilience — living with Type 1 Diabetes and overcoming a severe traumatic brain injury — has shaped his mission to help others move, recover, and perform at their best.

Beyond the clinic, Kaleb is completing his MSc in Sport & Exercise Science & Medicine at the University of Glasgow, his Clinical Neuroscience Diplomate through the Carrick Institute, and his Sports Chiropractic Residency with the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada).

Outside of academics, he works with the U16 AAA Markham Majors hockey team as a Sports Therapist, delivers keynote speeches internationally, loves to move his body, spend time with friends and family, learn something new everyday, and serves as a National Ambassador for multiple Diabetes organizations.

We couldn’t be more excited to have his expertise, energy, and passion join our team. Welcome, Dr. Kaleb — here’s to helping our athletes and active community recover stronger, perform longer, and achieve more!

Another summer of training rounding out with our professional athletes taking off. Grateful for the strong work ethic, the laughs, and pushing past limits. Years to teach and a lifetime to master. But as far as teaching rate of force development i.e. getting something moving in a damn hurry, and working the strength-speed side of the velocity curve, there’s nothing that beats Olympic lifts and their derivatives.
