We are incredibly proud to stand as part of the worldwide Straight Blast Gym (SBG) organization under Matt Thornton, the founder of SBG and a 6th-degree BJJ black belt known globally for his functional, conceptual approach to the mats. 🧠🥋🦍

But our roots run deeper. We also hold a direct connection to the legendary Team Scorpion under Kru Paul Tudlong, a 3x Canadian National Muay Thai Team Coach and former WKA Pro K1 Champion. 🦂🥊💥

​If you’re 35+ and looking to get back in shape, staring at a gym wall or running on a treadmill isn't the only option.

​Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) gives you that competitive drive back, builds functional fitness, and teaches you how to realistically defend yourself and the people you love.

​"But isn't Jiu-Jitsu just for 20-something competitors?"

​Not on our mats. We definitely have our young competitors, but our culture is built around everyone training together safely. Our classes are packed with parents, professionals, and adults who have to go to work the next morning. We focus on a safe, controlled environment where we look out for one another and solve problems together.

In order to give our coaches a weekend of rest they deserve, we will be closed on the following days:

- Saturday, June 27th
- Sunday, June 28th

However, we will be open on Wednesday, July 1st, including Morning BJJ.

🚨 ATTENTION CAP BJJ FAMILY! 🚨

Big news for our summer training! Starting June 1st, all CAP BJJ classes are officially transitioning to No-Gi! 🚫🥋 Time to pack away the kimonos and break out the rashguards and shorts. All other BJJ classes will remain in the gi unless otherwise specified.

To kick off the No-Gi season, we are hosting an exclusive 2-day workshop featuring Marcus Kumala—a black belt under UFC veteran Gunnar Nelson!

The Focus: A deep dive into Heel Hooks

Who: Open to ALL CAP BJJ members

Cost: 100% FREE for all CAP BJJ members!
