I wrote this last year out of the pain of my heart for Iran. This song is about a city that keeps getting emptier and the fact that we never thought life would bring us to such points of leap of massive bravery and courage. But here we are. And the chorus repeats “Zendeh Im” reminding us of the most important thing. Afterall, we are still alive.

People of Iran are more afraid of their own government killing them than Israel. For 46 years, the Islamist extremist regime in Iran has deprived us Iranians of human rights. They have turned women into second class citizens. There are no child or animal protection laws. Every day that we let the Iranian regime keep going, more people are being killed in different ways by this murderous machine (you thought I mean Israel? Nope I mean the Iran government)
As an activist and Iranian diaspora, I invite the world to open their eyes to this crisis. It is time we stop treating the middle east as a political dumpster. Can you stop glorifying the Iranian government just for the sake of hating USA and Israel? This is what breaks our hearts.
We need everyone to help Iran in this rebirth. The Islamic Regime has executed political prisoners in these few days of war (can you believe it?? during war??) it has shut off the internet to its own people and arrests anyone who decides to rebel. They have guns. People don’t.
We have to remember our values. Is human rights for everyone? Or only those who are privileged to have been born in first world countries.
No one is free until we are all free. No one is ascending until we have all awakened to love.

As I am wrapping up the year and reflecting, I see that the biggest shift has been internal. Operating from my soul and being loud about my values has set me free.
It’s important that we admit staying focused on your soul-track needs constant care and reminder. These affirmations can be a great reminder to bring you back on track…the path of service and love.

I made a vlog about my recent trip to Peru and exepriencing the plant medicine Ayahuasca. I fell in love with Peru, its people and culture.
I didn't make this vlog to endorse Ayahuasca (although I am so glad I followed her calling), but rather to show you the beauty of Peru and its people. Honestly, this country is so underrated, it has kept its pure form intact and you feel very close to nature. 🌿
I just love love loved this trip and 100% will go back. I also shared my Machu Picchu hike with you...so you're gonna see some epic views!

Dear kind hearted people, know that if you don’t set boundaries as a giver, takers will not know their limits. If you want to have a full cup of love to give to the world, then you have to protect that cup. There is nothing wrong with consciously choosing who you want to spend your time with, or what activities you want to partake in. In fact, it’s good for you and the world. If everyone stopped doing things out of obligation or the fear to FIT IN, we would be in a more loving and friendly world. So you go first!
It might feel hella uncomfortable at first to say no to something without having to come up with an excuse. You don’t need excuses, say no and let it go.

We have been conditioned to think we have to run around in circles trying to prove ourselves to the world first, then we are allowed to enjoy life. Mind you, the world is 8 billion people. How the heck are you gonna make all of them happy? And what is the guarantee they will not change their rules by the time you achieve your goals?
I think a big part of human suffering is the fact that we think our worthiness is to be earned. I myself was once guilty of that. I did not allow myself to enjoy the little things, to be present, to be proud of who I am because I didn’t have the big milestones yet. I had a wise teacher who asked me Sadie, if you were already 100/100, then what would you want to do? What would be your next move?
Do you see how the energy shifts like that?✨
Well for me personally, if I didn’t have to prove myself to the world, then I’d want to help people. I’d go around the world and see all the beauties, I would create beautiful heartfelt art. I would make true loving friendships and savour every moment to enjoy my time here.
Now I am passing this wise question on to you. If you did not have to prove your worth to anyone, what would you want to do? What is at the core of your values? What is it that makes you feel alive after you have reached all the milestones?
This might just be the question that puts you on your soul’s path. 💫

Rock bottom is the greatest place I’ve been…
and I’ve been there a few times. LOL
If you are in one of your lows know this: it’s only up from there. ⬆️
Life is a pattern of highs and lows. When you are at your lowest moments, it can only get up from there….unless you decide to camp there and dwell in your misery. Let me tell you something…
I don’t come from a life of privilege. Anyway you think about it, I’ve had it rough from childhood, adolescence…geographically, socially, economically…but the light bulb moment was when I had one of my all time lows. When my family had turned against me because of my truth, there were no friends around me, broken up from a toxic relationship….at that moment I felt a sudden burst of power, because I had nothing else to lose.
Yes there is so much freedom in your lows that you don’t see.
“when you got nothin’ you got nothin’ to lose” Who remembers what movie this dialogue is from?😉
So I wanna say this to my fellow underprivileged dreamers. If you are not an heir to a billionaire family name, if you are not a child star, if you don’t have a million dollar business to your name…you are FREE to reinvent yourself, to move, to risk, to make mistakes. See the value in THAT! Your rock bottom may just be the exact freedom that a billionaire star is wishing for. See the beauty in where you are. And when you have nothing to lose, then why not go ALL IN? And RISK IT ALL?
Aaaah I love this freedom. Take a deep breath with me. G R A T I T U D E is the way up.
I am happy to be a free human. Who is happy with me?
