Strength training isn't just for adults. Youth can benefit from weightlifting too! It can improve bone health, enhance sports performance, and boost confidence (1). Youth strength training can benefit everyone, regardless of gender or ability level. By improving muscular strength and endurance, youth can reduce their risk of injury and improve overall health (2). Strength training isn't just about getting bigger muscles. It can also help youth improve their coordination, balance, and flexibility. It's a great way to supplement other sports and activities. Let's encourage and inspire young people to be active and strong!
