Toronto, get ready for the most thrilling beach volleyball event of the summer — MIH Volleyball proudly presents King and Queen of the Beach, inspired by the globally popular FIVB King & Queen of the Court format!
This is not your typical beach tournament.
Five teams, one court, one crown.
In this high-energy, elimination-style format, five same-sex duos battle it out at once. One side of the court is designated the "King" or "Queen" side — and you only earn points by winning rallies while you're on it.
How It Works:
Five teams play simultaneously on one court.
Only the team on the King/Queen side can score points.
The serving team rotates after each rally.
Teams rotate through different opponents quickly — no waiting around!
After each time segment, the lowest-scoring team is eliminated until only one champion remains.
This format is all about:
Speed & strategy
Team chemistry
Non-stop rallies
And pure beach volleyball chaos — in the best way.
Divisions:
Men’s Division – Compete for King of the Beach
Women’s Division – Compete for Queen of the Beach
Note: This is a straight-sex (not coed) tournament. Bring your best duo partner and be ready to compete with the top talent in the city.
