Easy Is Not an Option.

, no matter which road you take. Challenges and struggles are inevitable, so why not direct your energy toward something truly ?

Don’t even bother trying to settle for what’s easy—easy doesn't exist.

is hard. Giving up sucks. Even if you manage to coast through most of it, no one can avoid life's inevitable tragedies. Every person will run out of steam eventually. Every person will lose battles and stuff and other people.

You will suffer. It's part of the human condition. Suffering for nothing just may be the worst possible option.

Instead of accepting whatever hard realities life will throw at you anyway, something worth suffering for while the choice is still yours.

RISQUE OR OK?!?!

This , I was actually afraid to hit POST on LinkedIn!

Luckily, the audience handled it like grown ups & talked about the marketing.

The proudly Canadian online store, PinkCherry.ca, has revived the relevance of billboards for me as a marketer. Before I first saw their "Scream Your Own Name" campaign, I can't think of any memorable billboard, ever... and I'm a marketer!

This weekend as I drove on Toronto's Gardiner Expressway, I saw a new ad that I couldn't ignore. In light of tax season, the company, which is being hailed for incorporating "messages about women's empowerment," found a funny advertising angle.

For all to see, Pink Cherry encourages women to "Invest in yourself" & "Increase Your Liquidity".

Personally, I think it's funny AND brilliant. Professionally, I think it's brilliant even if this will offend some people, which I'm sure it will/has. After all, the idea is to raise awareness and reach the right customer. Well, this ad will get people talking.

Not to mention, there are highly restrictive rules for advertising adult brands on many advertising platforms, especially digital platforms. So, why not make use of a medium that comes without the risk of accidental online clicks by unintended audiences?

No one wants their child discovering a PinkCerry ad on a clickable screen. But billboards? Safe & effective!

In my opinion, this ad is an edgy winner.

🔥It is subtle enough to be safe for all eyes.

🔥It's funny enough to earn a reaction.

🔥And, it's risky enough to be memorable.
