A year ago I posted a video saying you can’t charge $300-400 for a garland. It hit 500K views. Half the comments called me a ripoff. The other half said finally, someone’s saying it.

There’s so much more in a price than material, labor, and overhead. Sales goals, positioning, taxes, growth, all of it lives in that number too.

If you still don’t get why $300 doesn’t work, that’s exactly what tomorrow’s class is for.

$2000 for a job that should’ve been $10,000. 😰
I didn’t know any better.

I ended up calling in extra hands just to inflate and install on time.

The client kept saying everyone in that room knew we weren’t going to finish. Even Mario had his doubts. And we were fully booked the next day too. 😱

Only God knows how we pulled that off. It was a miracle.
A year later, I did another ceiling job. Same scale. This time I charged $10,000.

It wasn’t about my worth. It wasn’t just material and labor either. It was so much more than that.
