NEW AFTER-SCHOOL KARATE PROGRAM

Horizon Martial Arts is now offering after-school pickup from Blantyre Public School, Monday to Friday!

Pickup: 3:10 PM
Arrive at Horizon: Approx. 3:20 PM
Karate: 45-minute class every afternoon
Aftercare: Available until 6:00 PM

After Karate, kids can work on homework, do arts & crafts, read, enjoy quiet activities or simply relax after their school day.

Not at Blantyre? Students from other local schools are welcome too! Families can arrange transportation or use a local children’s transportation service to bring them directly to Horizon.

Registration is for the Fall Term, with options from 1 to 5 days per week.

Spaces are limited.

Horizon Martial Arts is offering 2 separate FREE workshops this Sunday, August 30:

Kids Anti-Bullying & Self-Defence — Ages 6–12
11:00 AM–12:00 PM

Women’s Self-Defence — Women & Teen Girls
2:00–3:30 PM

KIDS ANTI-BULLYING & SELF-DEFENCE

A fun and practical 60-minute workshop focusing on confidence, awareness, dealing with bullying and basic self-defence skills — perfect timing as kids get ready to head back to school!

WOMEN’S SELF-DEFENCE

A 90-minute workshop covering practical, easy-to-learn self-defence skills and strategies in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Both workshops are completely FREE. No experience is required and you do not need to be a Horizon member to participate.

Horizon Martial Arts is open all summer long with all regular programs running throughout July and August, including Lil Dragons, Kids Karate, Adult Karate, Kids Kickboxing, and Adult Kickboxing.

We’ll also be hosting our Summer Day Camps, packed with martial arts training, fitness, games, weapons training, art activities, and more.
