The London School of Dance is a training ground for students of all ages. Established in 1958, the London School of Dance is known throughout Toronto as a leader in dance education. The school is recognized for its high standard of training, dedicated and qualified staff and it’s modern, convenient dance facilities. In 1958, Miss Kathleen Binns, a professional dancer, felt a need to establish a fa

cility to educate children in dance and the Arts. She founded the London School of Ballet in what was then a very rural Scarborough. In the early 70’s, the school changed its name to the London School of Dance as a reflection of the diversification of the disciplines offered. Enquiring Minds Montessori Casa provides a nurturing, child-centered setting for children 2.5 to 6 years of age. The school is committed to building and fostering a community of lifelong learners, using proven Montessori methodology, which has been successful for the past 100 years. Our school is unique in our infusion of a comprehensive arts program that complements our Montessori curriculum. While we focus on helping children to master language, math, sensorial experience and artistic development at age appropriate levels, we simultaneously nurture the growth of conscientious, caring, and compassionate human beings.

✨ A New Chapter, Rooted in History ✨

Since 1958, we have proudly been recognized as The London School of Dance, founded by the wonderful Kathleen Binns. For over 65 years, we have proudly carried on that name and the legacy, passion, and love for the arts that came with it.

We have evolved as a school and are excited to share that we are beginning a new chapter.

As our school continues to grow and evolve, we are officially rebranding as Toronto Children’s School of the Arts. While our name is changing, our commitment to our students, families, and the arts remains at the heart of everything we do. ❤️

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported The London School of Dance throughout the years. Your love, trust, and support have been such an important part of our journey, and we are excited to have you continue with us as we begin this next chapter.

Our dancers were absolutely amazing, and we are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and passion they brought to the stage. A special thank you to all of our dance families for showing up, cheering loud, and continuing to support and encourage our students — your love and support means the world to them and to us. 💕
We also want to give a huge thank you to our incredible teachers and TA’s for their dedication, patience, and passion in guiding our dancers every step of the way. Your hard work, encouragement, and love for your students help make moments like these possible. 🩰✨

As we reflect on this incredible year, we are filled with gratitude and pride. This year marked a very special milestone for us—our very first graduation as TCSA! We are so proud of all our graduates and every student who worked hard, grew in confidence, and shared their passion for dance throughout the season.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our parents and families. Your dedication does not go unnoticed. From spending countless Saturdays driving your children to classes, rehearsals, and events, to supporting them every step of the way, you are a huge part of our success. We are so grateful for your commitment and encouragement.

To our students, thank you for your enthusiasm, perseverance, and hard work. You have truly amazed us this year, and it has been a joy to watch you learn, grow, and shine.

To our incredible Teaching Assistants, thank you for being such positive role models and an invaluable support to both our students and teachers. Your leadership, kindness, and dedication make a lasting impact.

And to our wonderful teachers, thank you for the thought, care, and passion you pour into every class, rehearsal, and lesson. Your dedication to creating meaningful experiences and fostering growth in each student is such a blessing to our TCSA family.

We had such a great time welcoming new students and families into the studio for our FREE trial classes before our Graduation Ceremony 💫
It was so special to see everyone exploring the different styles of dance we offer here — Ballet, Acro, Hip Hop, and more! Watching new dancers step into the studio and try something new is what it’s all about 💛

Join us on Saturday, June 20th for a FREE morning of dance, movement, and fun for children ages 3–12!
This special event is the perfect opportunity for children to explore our upcoming Programs, meet our instructors, and try Ballet, Hip Hop, and Acro in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
