The York Lions Competitive Golf Team is having fall tryouts! If you are dedicated and passionate about golf, YGA encourages you to try out and represent the university at competitions across Ontario! We are looking for players who can commit both physically and financially to the team! The tryout details are as follows:
Date: SEPTEMBER 10 2016
Location: Re*****on Parkview (6400 Steeles Avenue East, Markham, Ontario L3S 3J5)
Time: 10a.m. (We will let all participating players know if the tee time changes approximately four days in advance)
Price: $65

LPGA TOUR!!!!

Congratualtion to Lydia Ko on winning the Kia Classic, reaffirming her position as the top player in the world heading into the first major championship of the season.

Ko birdied the final three holes for her third straight 5-under 67 and a four-stroke, allowing her to win the first LPGA victory of the year and 11th overall in her career!!

Jason Day beat Louis Oosthuizen to become WGC-Dell Match Play champion for the second time in three years !!!!

Day's victory made it back-to-back tournament wins after he also won the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week!!!

On the LPGA Tour Kim Sei Young matched Annika Sorenstam's LPGA Tour scoring record of 27 under by closing with a 10-under 62 at Desert Ridge for a 5-stroke victory in the JTBC Founders Cup. Congratulations on the win and entering the history books!
