Elliot Sokolsky Coaching

Elliot Sokolsky Coaching I was overweight most of my life until I lost over 50 pounds—and never gained it back. Just proven methods that busy men can actually maintain.

I'm Elliot Sokolsky, Certified Nutrition Coach & Personal Trainer, and I help busy professional men lose weight without turning into calorie-counting machines or living at the gym. After years of watching guys struggle with the same cycle I once knew too well—lose weight, gain it back, repeat—I developed the ScaleDown Solution: a science-backed system that works with your real life, not against it

. While others obsess over quick fixes and complicated rules, I focus on strategic systems that actually stick. No obsessive calorie tracking, no food scales to carry around, no workouts that require selling your soul to the gym. Your transformation isn't about following someone else's plan—it's about becoming the hero of your own weight loss story. I'm here as your guide, giving you the map and pointing out the pitfalls, but you're the one walking the path.

Most people are doing strength training wrong.

They rush reps. They use momentum. They think the goal is to lift heavy things, when really the goal is to use the weight to extend and contract your muscles. You’re not doing something to the weights. You’re using the weights to do something to your muscles.

Most people also don’t push hard enough. They leave the gym having done a lot without actually challenging anything.

Two full body sessions a week, done right, is enough. Thirty minutes if that’s all you have.

This is a single set to failure at the end of my back workout. Slow, controlled, every rep on purpose. No momentum, no swinging, no ego.

This is the system I use with my clients.

If you have an hour a week to train and want a system that actually works, send me a message.

My addiction changed.

I didn’t beat it. I redirected it.

As a kid I used food to cope with things I didn’t know how to process. I ate my feelings, and I had a lot of feelings. It got me fat and feeling worse about myself, but I couldn’t stop.

When I got older I discovered alcohol. Confidence, attention, identity. I was the big fat party guy.

Then I lost weight. And something interesting happened. People noticed me differently. For the first time, I felt seen.

I wasn’t addicted to food or alcohol. I was addicted to escaping how I felt.

The addiction didn’t go away. It just found a new home. Fitness. Eating well. Being on a mission to feel and look my best.

Still a hyperfocus. But one that serves me now.

Falling out of love with s**tty behaviours and falling in love with being healthy might have saved my life.

My new addiction serves me. My old one didn’t.

I’ve walked this path. If you’re ready to start your own redirect, book a complimentary Weight Loss Strategy Call. Link in bio.

Right after I lost weight, I wouldn’t even have a bite of cake.

Now? I take full vacations from healthy Elliot. Cocktails, no workouts, zero guilt.
I can do that because I have fantastic metabolic credit.

It works exactly like financial credit. The longer you’ve been consistent, the more equity you’ve built, and the more your body can absorb the occasional indulgence without it derailing everything.

Bad credit, bad terms. Take out a loan with no history and you pay more for it, higher interest, worse deal.

Health works the same way. Skip the consistency and every indulgence costs you more.

Build the credit first. Then spend it on real life.

Consistency is the deposit. Freedom is the interest. 📈

Two months ago I was wrapping up a planned winter bulk. Deliberate caloric surplus to add muscle, capped off with a vacation where I splurged.

When I got back, it was time to cut.
Small caloric deficit, same systems and techniques I use with my clients.

Down 10 pounds since then.

This sh*t works. It just has to be built around how you actually live your life.

“This sh*t works.”

Marshall’s words, not mine.

Close to 40 pounds down. No crash diet. No Ozempic. No endless hours in the gym.

He came in frustrated, tired, uncomfortable, and convinced he was too old to lose weight.

Now he feels great. His body’s reconstructed. New habits. Stable weight. And he says he can do this forever.

Get off the fence. If you want results like this, book a free Weight Loss Strategy Call and lets make a plan built for you. Link in bio.

Most guys don’t fail because they lack willpower.

They fail because they’re doing it alone.

This message came in from a client this week. We just started working together, and he’s already navigating the weekend without going off the rails, not because he suddenly found discipline, but because he had someone in his corner.

That’s the difference between another failed attempt and actually making this stick.

The scale moving is good.

But this is better.

My client just bought a brand of scrubs he couldn’t fit into years ago, and used to look terrible in.

Now they fit.
At a smaller size.

His words?

“This s**t works.”

Structure.
Consistency.
Real results.

AI can write programs.
GLP-1s can suppress appetite.

But neither can replace what most men actually need: someone to talk to.

A lot of the guys I coach aren't lacking information.
They're lacking space.

Space to admit they're struggling.
Space to say they're tired.
Space to figure out what actually matters without being judged.

Men don't have many places where they can do that.

So yeah, I'll let AI handle the math and the macros.

The rest?
That's the part that actually changes things.

This isn’t a boring webinar. I'm doing something a bit different.

I’m running a live coaching session next Tuesday Feb 3rd for busy men who want to lose weight and keep it off but find life gets in the way.

Instead of a long slide deck, I’ll coach a real situation or scenario live and talk through how I decide what actually matters when time and energy are limited.

Early February is usually when January didn’t quite stick and most guys aren’t sure what to adjust without starting over. That’s exactly what this session is for.

Camera off is fine. It’s a quick 45 minutes, designed to fit into your already busy day.

Dropping in the registration link in the comments. Hope to see you there.
