Join Hanlan Boat Club on March 28 at 11:00 AM for a learn-to-erg session! You’ll learn the fundamentals of efficient rowing technique and how to get the most out of your erg cross-training.

Whether your goal is to row on the water or to improve your times, proper rowing machine (ergometer/erg) technique helps you deliver more power while protecting you from common injuries.

Hanlan Boat Club is Toronto's premier rowing club, with a wide variety of community and club rowing programs and home to Upper Canada College, Havergal College, and the University of Toronto Rowing Team.

Last weekend, Hanlan celebrated our $92,100 Ontario Trillium Foundation grant which helped us purchase 5 boats including an 8+ named for Nick Matthews (red jacket), as well as an outboard motor. The 2024 CanAmMex Regatta features entries from the National Sport Organizations for Canada, Mexico, the United States, and the Bahamas. The Regatta will be hosted at the Olympic Basin, featuring a four-day camp followed by a two-day regatta. A total of 26 athletes, comprised of 12 men, 12 women, 2 coxswains, and 4 coaches, will represent Canada. The team of selected athletes will form a sculling group fielding a quad, double, and two singles, and a sweep group fielding an eight, four, and two pairs. Rowing Canada Aviron Row Ontario
