What a weekend in Welland! 🐉

Our Leviathan crews took on the Welland Hope Floats Challenge and Alkame Club Cup, making the most of the beautiful weather with some great racing.

Across our Orange, Red, Gold, Black, and Purple crews, our paddlers put on a stunning performance, setting new PRs, and showing just how much we’ve grown together this season. 💪

💜 Special shoutout to our Purple crew, which brought home silver in both the 500m and 2km Women’s A Division Finals!

🖤 And a big shoutout to our Black crew, whose performance helped True North Paddling Club take home the inaugural Alkame Cup! 🏆

That’s a wrap on Leviathan’s last regatta of the 2026 season. Well done, paddlers!

🐉 Passing the torch… or should we say, the Dragon Trophy!

True North Leviathan Black 🖤 proudly took home the coveted trophy at last years GWN Dragon Boat Challenge — and now it’s time to pass the mantle to the 2026 champions! 🏆

We won’t be there this year as our athletes will be abroad racing at CCWC, but we’ll be cheering from afar!

Good luck to all the teams racing in September… paddle hard, race fast, and make some waves! 🚣‍♂️🔥

Three regattas down and a strong start to the season!

🟠 LV Orange: 4th, Mixed C Division @ Milton Dragon Boat Festival

🔴 LV Red: 1st, Mixed B Division @ Milton Dragon Boat Festival

🟣 LV Purple: 5th Overall @ Toronto Women's Dragon Boat Festival

🟡 LV Gold: 4th, Rec Mixed A Division @ Pickering Dragon Boat Festival

⚫ LV Black: 1st, Sport Mixed B Division & 6th Overall @ Pickering Dragon Boat Festival

These results are a reflection of the hard work our athletes and coaches put in every week since off-season training. Proud of what we've accomplished so far and excited for what's ahead!
