New Direction Hockey

New Direction Hockey New Direction Hockey is an adult recreational hockey program that operates out of Newmarket, Ontario, every summer from May till August.

Hope to see you all on and off the ice this coming season. It's always an awesome day when there is a puck drop. New Direction Hockey is one of the safest and most competitive summer hockey leagues offered in the GTA We play at the Magna Center in the heart of Newmarket, Ontario. A to D level registration for summer 2022 has begun. Get ready to play some excellent summer hockey!!!

2025 Team and individual sign ups for New Direction Hockey is officially at capacity. We maxed out with an extensive waiting list for ALL nights. More teams mean larger divisions which means more games against different opponents. Parody is essential to create an even more positive recreational hockey experience. Be excited. We are. Hope to see you all at the Magna Center. Puck drop is May 20th. 2025

Come watch Game 1 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers this Saturday at 🏒Connor McDavid Square🏒 (a.k.a. Riverwalk Commons, 200 Doug Duncan Drive) at 8 p.m.

FREE admission.

Arrive early and bring:
✅ a lawn chair,
✅ a non-perishable food item to donate (all donations will support the Newmarket Food Pantry)

Registration for the 2022 Adult Hockey Season is well under way. Check us out at http://www.newdirectionhockey.com/ We start the 2nd. week of May and we are almost full already. A big thank you goes out to all teams for your undying support and commitment to NDH. I can't believe that we have been playing since 2009 at the Magna Center in Newmarket. Some players have been with us since our first year. Wow.
Our pre-season Meet and Greet Party is set for April 4th, 7PM at The Lion Pub & Grill, Newmarket, ON | (905) 853-0050. All teams have to be represented for this important night.
Hopefully we see you all there.
