Toronto Island was a day of breaking surf, breakthroughs and broken personal records! 💪✨

🌊 Lake ONTARIO showed us she doesn’t answer to anybody! The swim was a BIG challenge this year, with choppy water, strong waves, and a course adjustment closer to shore. But our athletes put their open-water training to the test and kept moving forward!

💪 Krish took on his FIRST sprint triathlon, overcoming a challenging swim after starting with very little open-water experience. He completed his first tri in 1:54:15! Next goal? Keep building toward an Olympic-distance triathlon in 2027! 🚀

🏅 Rodrigo delivered another PB with a 1:14:07 finish and took 2nd in his age group! 🔥

🥈 Hugo also had an incredible day, finishing in 1:09, setting a new course PB, taking 2nd in his age group and 6th overall! 🙌 Next up: Wasaga Beach!

🏊‍♀️ Arika conquered her first sprint triathlon after only recently discovering open-water swimming. Despite the waves and strong current, she swam her fastest-ever 750m in 18 minutes and finished her first tri in 1:56! What a breakthrough! 💙

❤️ Sana went from not knowing how to swim just months ago to successfully completing her first open-water swim and first triathlon. A HUGE milestone!

💥 Kate returned to the race where she completed her first-ever triathlon last year and tied for 2nd in her age group — proof of just how much can change in a year!

🔥 Adam & Ginny both improved their times and recorded PBs, despite feeling underprepared. They’re already looking ahead to Rose City and bigger goals in 2027!

🚴 Anne took on her first duathlon after learning to bike with Coach Kelvin, while continuing to work through her anxiety around open-water swimming. Her goal of completing a triathlon is still ahead — and Team Atomica will be there with her! 💙

👏 Stephanie also put her Atomica swim clinic and meet-up training to work, getting through the swim and improving on her previous triathlon times!

We’re incredibly proud of every Atomica athlete who took on Toronto Island. 🙌❤️

🌧️ IRONMAN Ottawa brought the rain, the puddles, the nerves, the breakthroughs, and plenty of unforgettable race-day moments for our Team Atomica athletes! 🏊🚴🏃

But the Ottawa weekend started long before race day! 💙

Our Team Atomica Ottawa IM training camp brought a crew together for plenty of training, laughs, and good times. 🙌

🏊‍♀️ Caitlin had a huge swim breakthrough, completing the swim without panicking or stopping — and much faster than she expected! 🙏 Next up: the UTMB Kodiak 100K in California! ⛰️

🏁 Hugo took on his first-ever IRONMAN with a sub-10:30 goal. After a strong swim and bike, the rainy, flooded run made for a tough finish, but he got it done! 💪 Next up: IRONMAN Florida in November. 🔥

💪 Tricia completed her FIRST-EVER IRONMAN after deferring last year, with one goal: make it to the finish within the 17-hour cutoff. Despite the nerves and wet conditions, she did exactly that! 🥳 Huge shoutout to Katie for helping her make those swim improvements happen! 🌊

🌧️ Jean took on the wet and puddle-filled bike course, navigating the deep puddles and proving that at least it was warm enough not to freeze! 😅🚴‍♂️

🔥 Niki officially joined the IRONMAN crew! After preparing with the Team Atomica Ottawa IM camp and putting her swim coaching into practice, she crossed the finish line with plenty of support from her fellow Atomica swimmers behind her. 🏊‍♀️

Congratulations to everyone who took on Ottawa! We’re so proud of you. 🙌

☀️ Race season continues for Team Atomica!

Our athletes have been out racing at the MultiSport Barrie Triathlon and the Owen Sound Subaru Triathlon Series, bringing home podiums, PBs, first-time finishes, and plenty of great race-day moments. 🏊🚴🏃

🏁 MULTISPORT BARRIE TRIATHLON

🏆 Lexy had a fantastic day in Barrie, finishing 4th in her age group! She also set a new season PB on a course she’s raced five times. What an accomplishment! 💪

🎉 Heather completed her FIRST-EVER triathlon, finishing 11th and officially becoming a triathlete! 🏊🚴🏃

🥇 Andy took the win in the duathlon after a strong final run, making his move with just 500m to go! 🔥

🥇 Petrina had an incredible race, taking 1st overall and adding another huge result to her season! 🏆🔥

🥈 Paul raced to 2nd in his age group, with a perfectly timed high five from Darian helping him pick up the pace on the run! 👏

🥇 Julia took the top spot in the Barrie duathlon, adding another win to her season! 🏆

🌊 OWEN SOUND SUBARU TRIATHLON SERIES

🥇 Julia was back at it the following weekend, taking 1st in the Olympic triathlon! Despite some unexpected wetsuit struggles in the swim, she pushed through for the win. 💪🔥

🥈 Kin finished 2nd in his age group with a NEW PB! A huge shoutout to Lucien for the coaching and guidance. 🙌

🥉 Kumail rounded out the Owen Sound results with a strong 3rd-place finish in the sprint! 👏🔥

Whether it’s a first triathlon, a new PB, a podium finish, or simply getting out there and racing alongside teammates, every race is part of the journey. ❤️

🌟 Race season is in full swing, and our Team Atomica athletes have been everywhere! 🏊🚴🏃

From podium finishes and first-ever races to practice events, breakthrough swims, tough conditions, and plenty of lessons learned, our athletes have been putting their training to the test all summer long. 🙌🔥

🏆 Julia had a fantastic weekend at Guelph Lake 1, placing 3rd in her age group in the Olympic tri with her fastest-ever swim, then following it up with 2nd in her age group in the sprint! 🙌

🌊 John took on the Welland Sprint as a practice race ahead of Muskoka, getting valuable work on his swim, transitions, and racing in the heat. 💪

🚴 Luke raced in beautiful Quebec City as a practice race ahead of Kona, putting his training to the test and coming away with lots of experience to take into his next race. 🌟

🧜‍♀️ Petrina completed her first-ever 3K open-water race — complete with a lost swim cap and some unexpected rock scrapes! 🌊 A memorable first race and the start of a very busy summer of racing!

🔥 Michael completed his first-ever triathlon, finishing in 3:01:19 — just 79 seconds shy of his 3-hour goal! 💪🏁

🥈 Jessica raced to 2nd place in the Women’s 40+ swim/run! 👏🔥

🏆 Bracebridge was a Team Atomica podium party! Lexy took 3rd in her age group, Nathalie 3rd, and Viktoria 1st! 🥉🥉🥇 Three teammates, three podiums!

🌊 Adrian had a huge swim breakthrough, going around 20 seconds/100m faster than his Toronto Triathlon pace last summer!  🙌 Next up: Barrelman!

🚴 Julia had an amazing Musselman race, finishing 16th in her age group and in the top 13% of women overall, despite battling a back spasm on the bike. Talk about determination! 🔥

💪 Alysha faced a cancelled swim, windy bike, and hot run at her race, but adapted and executed a strong day. It may not have been a PB, but it was a race to be proud of! 🙌

🏆 Chris capped things off with an age-group win! 🥇🔥

🏆 It’s Club Championships weekend, so every race counts! Let’s show up, cheer loud, and see how close we can get to the top together!

📍Find us at the finish line tent after your race for refreshments, shelter, high-fives, and post-race chats.

💙 And don’t forget to wear your TA gear! You’ll look great, and you’ll make it even easier for the crew to spot you and cheer you on!

🌟 Sunshine, smiles, challenging hills, and an unforgettable weekend with Team Atomica at IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka! 🏊🚴🏃

There’s nothing better than watching teammates chase big goals, cheer each other on, and celebrate every finish line together. 🙌✨

🌊 Stephanie completed her first 70.3 and conquered her open water swim nerves 🙌 making the swim her favourite part of the day! 🌊

🏊 Christine put her Pan Am swim training with Team Atomica to work and had a strong race day. Way to go! 👏

🔥 Veronika had an incredible race, setting a half marathon PR, her fastest open water swim, and an overall 70.3 PR! 🔥

💪 Rachel raced to an impressive 12th place in her age group! 💪

🤝 Ben absolutely crushed the race! He shared that the Team Atomica training day and Coach Ricardo’s support helped make race weekend feel much less intimidating. 🙌

🏁 John completed his first-ever 70.3, showing determination from start to finish. What a debut! 🏁

🚴 Kin put together a fantastic race and represented Team Atomica with a strong performance! 👏🙌

Mont-Tremblant 70.3 = Crushed. 🔥💙

The Team Atomica community showed up, chased big goals, and absolutely dominated the course this weekend! Huge shoutout to ALL of the athletes who toed the line.  Here are just some of their incredible stories:

🌍 Rodrigo | Smashed his PB by 15 mins (5:32:18) & qualified for the World Championship in Nice!

🏊 Alice | Completed her first-ever triathlon and 70.3!

🏅 Maureen | Captured a brilliant 6th place in her AG!

👯‍♀️ Britta & Jade | Crossed the line together in sister-style, with Jade taking 7th in her AG!

🏁 Viktoria | Raced to a fantastic 22nd in a stacked AG!

⚡ Hugo | Broke the sub-5 hour barrier & punched his ticket to the World Championship! (Ottawa Full is next! 🚀)
