Twelve teams are competing for U21 Copa do Mundo Futsal (Futsal World Cup) Championship. May 21-25th in Paranaguá-Brazil. There are 9 foreign and 3 local futsal club teams participating; total of 9 countries involved. The Copa do Mundo brings together the top clubs on earth in the greatest sport of “futsal”.

The three Brazilian teams among the participants are Rio Branco/Apaf, representative of the host city, JEC Krona, finalist of the last World Cup in the category, and Vasco da Gama, from Rio de Janeiro. Among the foreigners is Palma Futsal from Spain, current champion of the UEFA Futsal Champions League and best team in the world in the 22/23 season.

The Copa do Mundo was created in 2019 with the aim to boost Men’s & Woman’s futsal in Brazil and is considered the most important & top youth futsal competition of the year.

The Under-21 Futsal World Cup is organized in partnership with the Municipality of Paranaguá, through the Secretariat of Sports of the municipality and is sponsored by Umbro and Mundo do Futsal. The competition is sanctioned by the Brazilian Futsal Confederation and the Paranaense Futsal Federation, in addition to the support of the Government of the State of Paraná, Clinisport and SportApp.

This afternoons Technical Conference took place in Paraná, Brasil prior to the start of the U21 Futsal Club Championships set to take place May 21-25.

This is the largest club futsal event to take place with 12 participating teams in this year’s U21 Division. The competition format and rules were discussed amongst delegates & top futsal coaches in the world.

and Friends are about to kick off the inaugural all-star event televised live on YouTube 8pm EST time (9pm 🇧🇷).
