What a wonderful week teaching this GYROTONIC® Pre-Training course

It felt incredibly meaningful to return to teaching in this way — and especially special as this was my first course taught since becoming a mom.

I truly enjoyed guiding these students through the material and witnessing the changes that unfolded in their bodies throughout the course. Watching their confidence, understanding, and appreciation for the GYROTONIC® method grow each day was one of the greatest rewards.

I’m always reminded that this work is so much more than movement alone — it invites curiosity, awareness, and a deeper connection to the body.

A heartfelt thank you to Gyrotonic Infinity 8 for hosting and creating such a welcoming and supportive environment for both myself and the students. Your warmth, organization, and care made the experience especially enjoyable.

Feeling grateful — and already looking forward to the next one

I was 3 months pregnant when I taught this course and it never made it into my feed. I had such a wonderful experience teaching this Gyrokinesis Pre-Training course — guiding students through their first steps on the path toward becoming instructors.

Gyrokinesis is a beautiful method, blending movement, rhythm, breath, and awareness. Teaching this course reminded me how powerful clear guidance and intentional movement exploration can be in helping students truly feel and understand the work.

The dedication, curiosity, and talent of this group made the experience especially rewarding. Watching them grow in confidence and enjoyment throughout the course was a true highlight.

I’m also grateful to have taught at Gyrotonic Infinity 8 — a welcoming, well-organized studio with a supportive team and wonderful atmosphere.

This weekend I’ll be continuing that work as I teach another course, so there will be no online class this Saturday.

I’ll be back the following week with more Gyrokinesis online — an accessible, intelligent movement practice that requires only a mat and a stool.

Thank you for being part of this growing community!

I had an excellent few days of continuing education with Specialized Master Trainer Pascale Leonard

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to keep learning, refining, and deepening my understanding of this work — and I’m looking forward to integrating what I explored over the past few days into my upcoming GYROTONIC® Pre-Training course beginning this Friday.

This will be my first Pre-Training course since becoming a mother, and stepping back into teaching in this role feels especially meaningful.

Motherhood — and the experience of rebuilding and reconnecting with my own body postpartum — has given me a completely new perspective and understanding of the work. It has deepened my appreciation for patience, progression, support, and the intelligence of the body in a way I could never have fully understood before.

I’m excited to bring that experience into the course and create a thoughtful, supportive, and inspiring learning environment for my students.

There are still a few spots available for anyone interested in joining

Mother’s Day feels especially meaningful to me this year — because it will be my very first one as a mother.

This season of life has brought me a deeper understanding of patience, strength, surrender, and love in ways I never could have imagined.

To honor that, I’d like to offer a complimentary breath-focused class on Mother’s Day — a gentle space to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate a sense of peace, calm, and joy.

This class is open to everyone. You do not need to be a mother to join — only a willingness to pause and receive.

It will be a beautiful opportunity to move inward, breathe deeply, and celebrate the many forms of care and connection that shape our lives.

To all mothers — new, experienced, chosen, and those who nurture in their own unique ways — this day is for you!

Your body was designed to move in all directions.

Over the last few weeks, our classes have taken a deeper dive into specific areas of the spine — exploring focused work through the thoracic, lumbar, and cervical regions.

This week, we shift gears.

Saturday’s class will be a gentle Beginner Gyrokinesis Flow — an opportunity to integrate that work into a more fluid, full-body experience.

Rather than focusing on one area, we’ll move through a balanced sequence designed to create mobility, strength, coordination, and ease throughout the entire body.

This class is welcoming for beginners and equally valuable for anyone looking to reconnect with movement in a supportive and intentional way.

A beautiful reset to end the series — and to remind the body how good it feels to move as a whole.

Sharing a few words from a client about his experience with Gyrotonic training.
This is a full 1:20 reflection — best listened to with sound on.

Jason’s love for movement and dedication to Gyrotonic is contagious — he always brings energy, focus, and a big smile to every session. 💛

His enthusiasm is so inspiring that he even introduced his wife to the method, and I now have the joy of teaching them duet sessions together. Guiding students like Jason is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching — seeing growth, confidence, and pure enjoyment in every session never gets old.

This photo still makes me smile.

Continuing my Gyrotonic practice throughout pregnancy allowed me to keep doing the things I love — like getting out on the water — while feeling supported, connected, and confident in my body.

I truly believe this consistent, intelligent movement also played a big role in my postpartum recovery. Strength doesn’t disappear when it’s built with awareness — it carries you forward.

Becoming a mom was a lifelong dream of mine, and it finally came true at 41. I’m so grateful I was able to move through pregnancy feeling strong, capable, and at home in my body every step of the way.

As we head into a new year, I’m honoring this chapter with gratitude — and feeling ready to slowly return to movement after allowing my body the time it needed to heal postpartum.

Here’s to trusting the body, at every age and every stage ✨

As I slowly return to teaching, I’ll be offering a limited number of private and group online Gyrokinesis / ELDOA sessions.

If you’re curious, feel free to send me a message or keep an eye on this space 🤍

These videos were filmed during my pregnancy and somehow never made it onto my page — but looking back at them now, I’m so grateful I captured this time.

Practicing and teaching Gyrotonic while pregnant was such a meaningful experience for me. It allowed me to keep moving, breathing, and connecting to my body as it changed — without force or strain.

The spinal work, breath, and intelligent abdominal support made such a difference. It helped me feel strong, supported, and capable throughout pregnancy, rather than limited by it.

Movement during pregnancy doesn’t have to be about “pushing through.” It can be about listening, adapting, and trusting your body’s wisdom.

On this New Year’s Eve, I’m reflecting with gratitude and gently stepping into the next chapter — honoring rest, healing, and the slow return to movement.

So thankful for this method and everything it continues to teach me 🤍

Returning to movement & teaching online soon
