Hello everyone ! today i am going to share my views one of the most important tool that we can use in Linux to make our system secure, and that's IPTABLES if you have iptables installed and setup on your machine which is a little hard to do. You can protect your system from any unauthorized person and hackers from getting your info. Moreover in many companies it is used to restrict any particular department from getting access on a specific server.
You can install it on your machine by using
su -> yum install iptables (for CENTOS 6)
and can activate it by using
services or systemct command. Root access should be denied this would not let hackers harm you.
For further queries comment below
Thanks

Hello everyone,Today we are going to explain you some of the basic commands of Linux which are used to handle it, without the use of these commands it's impossible to handle any Linux OS.
These commands very easy to understand and can be practiced on various live terminals or by using putty (If you are a student your college may provide you an account). Commands format matters a lot if a command is to be use with lowercase then the uppercase letter is not recommended to use.
COMMANDS to be used in the terminal
1. "cd" is a command used to change your location it is similar to windows OS, as we change our folders and drives location in windows using cursor but here we use "cd". Some examples are
cd "home" here home may be a directory where we wish to enter.
There are 3 types of Paths change techniques that we will discuss later.
2. "ls" it is used to show list of all those folders or directories that are included in "home" folder as we discussed in 1. "ls -l" can be used to see the permissions that are put on that file(don't worry we will discuss about these permissions later on).
3. "touch" is used to create any new file. like "touch "filename".
4. "mkdir" is used to create a folder or directory which can have number of files and folders inside it.

For today that's all we will teach you try it all over your linux live versions.I hope you learned something fro it.
Leave a comment below if you want to learn any other thing.

Today, we are going to talk about Linux which is an OS mostly used by many big organizations like google, Facebook and many more. Have you ever wonder why these companies are using there systems based on Linux OS ? THINK for a moment about it. Also, world's nearly 79% servers are based on Linux, whatever you are using now to surf on internet is running due to it. We all are familiar with windows because they are easy to use and graphically advanced. It's a little hard to learn the use of Linux OS because commands are much needed to run it perfectly. Moreover, androids which hold a large part of global market have the Linux OS as the base, APPLE's OS are the other big example. Also, Linux OS's are much secure and fast, that's why Linux OS are important for today's world. So, if you wish to have a successful carrier in IT you should know about all Linux and then the Bash shell scripting (we will talk about it later). I guess now you all know how important is the Linux is. If you have any query regarding it. Let me know and as Posted before you can comment here and tell us about what would you like to Learn? THANKS
