- I have been golfing for over 40 years
- I have a degree in Kinesiology and use discussion of biomechanics in my lessons in order to help students understand the swing, what they may be doing wrong, and what they can do to improve
- I have been teaching golf for over 20 years
- I have taught all ages, from 3-93, and all abilities from beginner/novice to expert
- I have been a professional caddie


- I apprenticed years ago under the tutelage of all Canada’s best instructors including Henry Brunton, Sandra Post, Ben Kern, Shelley Woolner, Terry Miskolczi and Sean Foley
- I taught with Five Star Golf Schools and Bell Golf for Women Days, the Lionhead Golf Academy and the Academy at Glen Abbey before hanging my hat at Turnberry Golf Club
- I am a former Head Teaching Professional at the Lionhead Golf Academy
- I helped grow the Lionhead Golf Academy to a $300K golf school that included One Day Golf Schools, Junior Programs and Camps, Ladies Only as well as Mixed/CoEd Clinics
- I have been teaching at Turnberry Golf Club since the course opened and helped develop the Junior Golf Camp curriculum
- I teach using drills that you can do at the range as well as those you can do at home - no excuses!
- I send all my students notes, video and pics after their lessons to help with the learning process

A lovely note from a lovely student! Usually when a beginner takes a five lesson package from me, I give them the option of coming on the course to apply what they have learned. We also go over course management, alignment on the golf course (because it’s more difficult than on the driving range, which is usually as wide as three fairways), club selection, etc. In this note, she is referring to the feedback. I send via email to each student after each lesson. In that feedback, I repeat what we went over, usually involving some pictures as references both of the student and possibly some shots of PGA pros. I think as instructors will do quite a bit of talking during the lessons and I figure students can’t remember everything we talk about. General commentary is that the notes really help! If you don’t already do this, give it a try your students will love it.

We are running Yoga for Golf 4 x 30 min weekly classes online Thursdays at 7 pm EST starting tomorrow.
