Through an emphasis on cultural traditions, embodiment of music, movement and its expression - Araguacu Latin Dance Company was born.

Araguacu is a professional dance company based in Toronto, Canada, founded in 2013 by internationally recognized dancers and instructors Kim and Geo. We are a collective of diverse cultures and talents focused on promoting Latin culture and dance through our infectious, passionate, and energetic love and appreciation for Salsa and Bachata. Araguacu’s primary aim is to stay true to the origins of dance, while promoting our own unique style of creative expression, and inspiring others to do the same. With over 10 years of experience, we specialize in teaching and performing Bachata, and Mambo/Salsa On2. Kim & Giselle are stepping into the studio together to bring you an explosive, one-of-a-kind 4-Hour Intensive + Evening Social that bridges pure cultural roots with modern island heat!

We are bridging clean studio technique with the unfiltered pulse of the island in a one-of-a-kind dual event:

🇩🇴 THE INTENSIVE: Technique to Carrandales Flow
⏰ 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
A 4-hour deep dive starting with essential Dominican foundations, grounded body mechanics, and timing drills—progressively opening up into the modern, electric energy of Carrandales. Learn how to take clean technical roots and transform them into raw, spontaneous street flow and authentic personal expression inspired by the island’s modern wave (Farifeo, Ana Saldaña, and the viral Carrandales style).
