We hope you have enjoyed your summer!
We are just two weeks away until morning hockey skill sessions start up again at Leaside Arena. We start pre-season enough to get you ready for league play! If you are returning, or are first timers with ROCS, we still have spots available, we would like to hear from you as soon as possible. We need to know how many instructors to hire for the new season, and to let Coach David know how many of you are beginner or intermediate so he can plan his training schedule. Just to remind you of dates and times:

MONDAYS at Leaside Arena:

Women's Hockey Boot Camp
Mondays 9:30am This fast and fun paced program will improve those hockey skills you desire with an up tempo atmosphere with Coach David Trombley of Hockey Extreme!
14 weeks. September 12th- December 12th, 2016. Cost is $350.

Novice Hockey Level I
Mondays 9:30 am. A skate for beginners and those Level I skaters that want to improve their hockey fundamentals. A great way to start the week with our Hockey Extreme instructors teaching you safe and proper technique.

TUESDAYS at Leaside Arena

Intermediate Hockey Levels 2-3
Tuesday 9:30 am. This fun and fast paced program will improve your all-round hockey skills, including shooting and stick handling, in addition to increasing your speed. Great work out! Scrimmage to follow skills session. Our Hockey Extreme instructors will keep you moving!
15 weeks. September 13th - December 13th, 2016. Cost is $375.

We know that some of you may still be at the cottage or on holiday, so if making payment before start date is difficult, please message us asap. We ask those of you that can pay before September 12th to please do so, to make it easier for Christine and I to move forward with scheduling and payment of ice. In 2010, a mom at school - Erin Sorhaug - asked me if she rented ice, hired a coach would I be interested in learning how to play hockey.....absolutely! The next year Raquel O'Halloran and I started ROCS Hockey by combining our initials and we continue to run this amazing, completely non-intimidating and fun hockey program for women of all skill levels. Now coached by David Trombley, owner of Hockey Extreme, several of the women who started with us in 2010 are still with us and have gone on to play in leagues.
