Today is the last day at . And my heart is full.

This place has been so much more than a studio to me. It’s where I grew up as a teacher. Where I learned to trust my voice, refine my cues, and hold space for bodies of all shapes, stories, and abilities.

I walked in years ago as a newer instructor, nervous and eager. And I’m walking out today as someone completely transformed — by the practice, by the community, and by every single person who took their place on a reformer beside me.

To  and : thank you for building something so special. For trusting me with your space, your clients, and your vision. You created a studio that felt like home — not just for me, but for everyone who walked through the door. And that was possible because you both lead with heart. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.

To the clients who showed up week after week, through good days and hard ones: thank you. You taught me more than any training ever could. Your trust, your effort, your laughter, and even your wobbles made me a better teacher.

To the fellow instructors and staff who made FineTune feel like family: I’m so grateful to have learned alongside you.

FineTune wasn’t just a place to work out. It was a place to belong. And that will stay with me, long after the lights go out tonight.

A while back I did a private with and it reminded me how easy it is to get comfy in your own teaching lane.

It’s not about copying someone else’s style but more about gaining fresh perspectives, new movement options, and letting your body learn something different — because even teachers need teachers.

You know that feeling when you grab all your groceries in one trip like a total boss? Or when you shovel snow off the driveway without feeling like your arms might give out? That’s real arm strength.

Toned arms look great, sure — but what they do for you is what really matters. They carry, hold, lift, and support you through life.

Consistent exercise is about showing up for yourself, for your future, for all the moments that require your strength. And if a little definition comes with it then that’s great! But the real flex is being capable. Life doesn’t get lighter, but you can get stronger.
