SHOCKING REVELATION: "We Didn't Even Feel It" - Nigerian Nurse Exposes What REALLY Happened During 13-Month Doctors' Strike Under Peter Obi

A Nigerian nurse who witnessed it LIVE as a student has finally broken silence on the controversial 13-month doctors' strike in Anambra State under Peter Obi - and what she said will leave you speechless.

According to her:
"Yes, doctors went on strike for 13 months under Peter Obi as governor. I was in school then as a student nurse, so I witnessed what happened."
But here's the part nobody tells you...

THE REAL REASON FOR THE STRIKE:

The Federal Government introduced a new salary structure called CONMESS/CONHESS and told STATES to implement it according to their resources.

Peter Obi said: "I will pay 60% based on what Anambra can afford."

The doctors said: "No, we want 100% or nothing."

Obi said "No."

They went on strike. For 13 months.

BUT HERE IS THE TWIST THAT SHOCKED EVERYONE:

While other states would have collapsed, Anambra did NOT collapse.

Why?

The nurse revealed that before then, Obi had already invested heavily in MISSION HOSPITALS and MISSION SCHOOLS. He equipped them to standard when he said the health and education sectors were in shambles.

So when government doctors abandoned hospitals...

Mission hospitals took over. Fully.
"There were no reports of mass casualties during the strike, meaning the absence of the doctors was not felt as much because mission hospitals had taken over healthcare services across the state."
Imagine that. A state was on doctors' strike for 13 MONTHS and people did not notice because alternative hospitals were working!

Was it wickedness or wisdom?

Some will say: "How can a governor allow doctors to be on strike for 13 months?"

Others will say: "He refused to share money he didn't have, and instead built a system that didn't depend on one group holding the state hostage. That's LEADERSHIP."

have never seen Peter Obi mention this man's name before. I like how Obi doesn't stress himself about all these jealous Igbo politicians.

Umahi went as far as trying to start what he called an association of ex-governors of the South-East in order to water down Obi's influence. It didn't work. Now, a commissioning site is used to talk about Obi.

‘I WAS DEPUTY GOVERNOR WHEN OBI WAS GOVERNOR’ — UMAHI ACCUSES FORMER ANAMBRA LEADER OF DECEIT, SILENCE ON SOUTH-EAST INSECURITY

Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has launched a fresh attack on former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, accusing him of failing to speak out against insecurity and the Monday sit-at-home order in the South-East while alleging that he has not been truthful about his past positions on regional issues.

Speaking during the inspection of Section 2 of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Superhighway in Epe, Lagos State, Umahi said he was in a unique position to assess Obi’s actions because he served as Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State when Obi was Governor of Anambra State and Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum.

“I was Deputy Governor when my brother, Peter Obi, was Governor of Anambra State and Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum. I know his position on IPOB. I know the disagreement between him and Nnamdi Kanu,” Umahi said.

The minister accused Obi of not being open with Nigerians about his past actions and positions, insisting that leadership must be built on honesty, accountability and verifiable records of service.

According to Umahi, Obi has remained silent on the sit-at-home order that has affected economic and social activities across the South-East despite the human and economic costs associated with the development.

“Nobody should joke with the thousands of South-East people who were killed in the process. He has not been honest with our people. People sit at home every Monday, and he has not spoken against it,” he stated.
