Light Up The Floor is closing
To Our Dearest Patrons,
As most of you know, we have had our studio's location posted for shared lease in the hopes that our landlord would find a suitable tenant to share the space with us.
Unfortunately for us, the landlord has received an offer to lease the entire space that we simply cannot compete with. We could opt to seek an alternate location, however at this present time, Rachael has decided to close the business of Light Up The Floor so that she can focus on her family. Therefore, after almost 7 years of hard work and dedication in the industry of dance and dance fitness, we have decided to close doors.
Dance Programs For Kids: Please note that our last day of classes will be Tuesday May 30th and all classes will end at 8:00pm. Our Ballroom coaches Julia and Slava have decided to continue to work closely with each other in the hopes of continuing our Ballroom program elsewhere. If you wish to continue dancing Ballroom, kindly email us back and grant us permission to share your contact info with them or you may speak with them directly about future opportunities in Ballroom under their guidance. Rachael will be working with them to continue offering physical conditioning services to all competitive Ballroom students. All other dance forms will no longer continue.
End of Year In-Class Dance Show Case (Kids): You will receive emails soon about the in-class show case that your child will perform in where you may come in as a guest and enjoy the performances our kids have been working on all year. All show cases will take place during their last class with us. Thank you for your support!
Annual Sleepover (Kids): As we are uncertain about the logistics (and safety) of this taking place in a location that needs to be cleared out by May 31st, our annual sleepover has been cancelled.
Dance Fitness For Adults: The last day of Zumba classes will be Tuesday 30th May at 7:30pm. Zumba is what started us up back in 2010 and we are very sad to see it go.
GREAT NEWS ABOUT SALSATION - Rachael will continue teaching Salsation classes in the area. Please look out for information (coming soon) on times, days and locations. She is trying her best to keep the classes going within a 10-15 min drive of Light Up The Floor. There is a buzz about teaching out of Swansea Town Hall on Mondays and Saturdays, so stay tuned. :-)
We would like to extend our warmest, most heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing commitment, never wavering loyalty and support along with the special love for dance that you have brought to our studio and shared with us. Without you, we would not have had all the amazing memories and experiences that will remain a part of our hearts and dancing souls forever. All the laughter and tears and special moments that brought us together and made us a warmer closer community, will never be forgotten, and for this, we truly thank you.
Take special care and we hope to see you in Ballroom classes with Julia & Slava and Salsation classes with Rachael soon!
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes to teach us a lesson.. sometimes to show us a better way or sometimes our time is up and something new is coming. Change is hard but when we embrace it, beautiful things flourish and our future is brighter. We are sure of it ;-) *wink*
But not matter what happens in life, dance must live on! :-)
