THE AIR WE BREATHE
Trees are doing more for your lungs than you might think. 🫁🌳
Their leaves intercept tiny airborne particles and absorb certain gaseous pollutants—literally helping clean the air around us. In fact, researchers estimated that urban trees across 86 Canadian cities removed about 16,500 tonnes of air pollution in a single year.
That matters because the air outside eventually becomes the breath you take in.
Cleaner air means healthier lungs, healthier communities and a healthier place to move, breathe and live.
Healthy forests → cleaner air → healthier humans.
That connection is exactly why, every September, Modo studios come together for Sweat for Sustainability—a month-long initiative that turns our collective practice into collective impact.
This year, we’re supporting One Tree Planted and their work to restore forests around the world. Because caring for the planet isn’t separate from caring for ourselves—healthy people need a healthy planet. 🌎💚
