In the spring of 2015 Canadian soccer coach Paul Okumu and Dutch soccer coach Theo ten Caat decided to join hands and organised their first soccer camp together. Both Paul and Theo have many years of experience as trainers on a high level of soccer. The DutchCan™ soccer camp gives young and motivated soccer players the chance to experience and train like professional soccer academy's train in The
Netherlands. Theo ten Caat, who has played for clubs like FC Groningen, FC Twente, Vitesse and FC Aberdeen (Scotland), represents The Netherlands and has good connections with the academy of FC Groningen. During the camp Theo is scouting for talented and motivated players who might be given a chance in Europa. In 2015 young soccer player Leekwan Kinghorn was selected to come visit The Netherlands to represent himself. Currently DutchCan™ is only operating in the Toronto area but chances are that in the future players in the other districts of Canada can also show what they've got.
