The purpose of this "facebook" page is to promote Democratic Principles within Eritreans or Ethiopians by bringing issues that concern Eritrea or Ethiopia, the people from within, or the Diaspora Eritreans or Ethiopians. These issues are discussed by applying Democratic Principles. It is a Discussion-Forum of which every Eritrean or Ethiopian is expected to take part in the discussion and express
his/her own views freely, but respectfully. The way we express our views to each other, or challenge other's views is a good indicator of whether we are fit for a Democratic life. A Democratic life is made possible only in a democratic governance; a democratic governance is made possible by citizens who advocate for and practice democracy and justice. As ordinary citizens, our fitness for a Democratic life will help the democratic governance to be effective and efficient. A democratic governance will never be installed for us at the will of a governing body; it will only be put in place by our own effective demand, and that effective demand is a function of a concerted effort of Eritreans or Ethiopians that constitute the so called "critical mass." A society gets what it deserves. In other words, a society gets the government that it deserves. The objective reality of Eritrea or Ethiopia attests to that fact-the empirical fact. It is high time to explore the circumstances of the Eritrean or Ethiopian psycho-political and social dimensions, so that we can prepare ourselves for the eventualities that may demand of us.
