Ugly Duckling Pilates aims to smash that fallacy to smithereens. Pilates is for everyone, from the healthy to the injured and everyone in between. It doesn’t matter if you’re un

derweight or overweight, fit or broken, tall or short, stiff or flexible, weak or strong. A good Pilates instructor will look at your body and create exercise programs from the things your body says to them. If your shoulders are tense and your head looks uncomfortable the focus will be different than if your knees are locked and your arches have fallen. am i the only one who instantly distrusts anyone selling "targeted toning" exercises?

like no you cannot safely tone your glutes in isolation AND you should not WANT to create imbalance by attempting to do so

PS no you can't "tone your stomach " ...
