CALL FOR PERFORMERS!
Spooky season is coming to Artists’ Play, and we’re looking for performers to take the stage at our TWO Halloween events!

BOO BASH: Our family-friendly Halloween circus show & fair! We’re looking for fun, playful, spooky (but not too spooky!) acts perfect for an all-ages audience.
HOLLYWOOD HALLOWEEN CIRCUS: Our 19+ Halloween cabaret where old Hollywood glamour gets a little haunted.

Get free open gym until the event and two complimentary tickets!

Aerial, circus, dance, acrobatics, character acts & more are welcome to apply!
Have an act already? Amazing. Have an idea you’ve been dying to bring to life? We want to hear about that too.

Acro Mel is bringing her experience to Artists’ Play for a weekend packed with aerial training, exploration, and plenty of time in the air.

With workshops for youth and adults, there are opportunities to explore everything from drops and releases to spinning, straps, hoop, hammock, dance trapeze and more!

About Mel
Born and raised in Canada, Mel has trained extensively in aerial acrobatics, partner acrobatics, pole dance, yoga, dance, gymnastics, and general fitness. After performing and teaching internationally, she is now based in the Middle East, where she continues to perform, teach, and help grow the acrobatic community.
As an instructor, Mel is passionate about creating a supportive, engaging environment where students can explore movement, build confidence, and develop their skills in a healthy and positive way.

More about Mel: Mel was born and raised in Canada and has trained extensively in aerial acrobatics, partner acrobatics, pole dance, yoga, dance, gymnastics, and general fitness. Having trained and performed worldwide, Mel is now primarily based in the Middle East where she teaches and performs, and is dedicated to building a growing acrobatic community.

It’s confirmed! Join us for a clowning and acting workshop with Andrii Lytvak while they’re in Toronto performing in Cirque du Soleil’s LUZIA. 𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐈 𝐋𝐘𝐓𝐕𝐀𝐊 🎪🇺🇦

Through a series of interactive games and partner exercises, participants will explore connection, trust, and improvisation while developing stronger stage presence and acting skills. Together, we’ll focus on listening and responding to a partner, breaking the ice with an audience, and building confidence through play in a fun, supportive environment. This workshop is open to all experience levels, from first-time participants to experienced performers and is perfect for anyone looking to strengthen the acting side of their performance.

Would you be interested in a Clown & Acting Workshop? 𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐈 𝐋𝐘𝐓𝐕𝐀𝐊 🎪🇺🇦 Andrii Lytvak, currently performing in Luzia with Cirque du Soleil, will be in Toronto through the end of August and has availability to offer a clown and acting workshop!

With over 15 years of experience as a clown, comic character performer, actor, and acrobat, Andrii brings a unique approach to performance, creativity, and play.
