One of the ways we can keep girls in sailing is making them feel welcome at events. We need to invite them. Make them feel seen.

One would think this isn’t necessary. But it is. How else can we insure that girls are celebrated when there is a lack of equity in enrolment?

A few weeks ago the and the had the Seahorse Regatta. At this event we had the Olympic there to support and hand out the Sarah Douglas award.

What you are looking at is the finish line for the FIRST WOMAN TO SAIL AROUND THE WORLD. ALINE!! has been sailing for 4 months and came in second in the South Ocean Challenge.
