Time is literally flying less than 12 days until Summer.

No need to be hard on yourself if you aren't were you want to be physically. It's be a tough year for many.

What you can do is focus on the things you can control.

Here are some tips to help get you on track:

1. Adequate Rest is a Must

2. Increase Water Intake

3. Reduce Distractions less screen time, Neflix included

4. If working from home, get rid of those snacks at your workstation

4. Have an accountability partner

5. Schedule your workouts

6. Prep your meals in advance. 3 days worth is possible.

7. MOVE. During lunch or breaks get outside, go for a walk if possible.

8. Take baby steps. You don't need to eliminate everything at once.

For many of us we have sought comfort in food as a way to cope. This post is not to shame but to provide education.

Food not only effects our physical body but it effects our mental/mood as well. It's important for us to understand the impact that certain food(s) we seek for comfort have. These food(s) can often be the root of many of our mental/mood issues.

To understand the impact of food on our moods also requires us to understand what our triggers are that cause us to seek these food(s).
