Trail Unedited is thrilled to speak with Marc-Andre Boivin of Quebec Mega Trail (QMT), for the second year to promote their races coming up June 30th to July 3rd, 2022.

QMT is one of the most prestigious, challenging and beautiful Ultra races in Canada. It is composed of wild and spectacular courses linking the banks of the majestic St. Lawrence River to the two most famous mountains of the National Capital, the Massif de Charlevoix and Mont-Sainte-Anne.

Jeff has run many marathons and trail races like the Boston marathon, Sulphur Springs, Rocky Raccon and Leadville. Now Jeff has his sights on UTMB and hopes to enter in a year or so. There is no doubt that he will.

Trail Unedited welcomes podcaster, Ultra Endurance athlete and running coach, Mark Bottenhorn.

Mark has battled anxiety and depression and his mission in life is to promote a fit and healthy lifetstyle and to inspire others while doing so. He let's those battling with mental health disorders and mental illness know that they are not alone.

He is currently working with athletes of all fitness levels varying from Olympic trial hopefuls, elite obstacle course racers to first time 5k runners.

In this episode, Mark talks about how he got started in athletics, his experience becoming a soccer player, how he discovered running, becoming an Ultra distance runner, the reason he became a running coach, the athletes he currently works with, and so much more!
