Working out is important, but don't forget about the "other" things that count😉
1: Set your workouts at specific times🕒
- Setting specific days and times for your workouts is a tried and true way to make sure you get in your exercise. If you know you have to be at the gym every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 p.m., you're more likely to follow through than if you just plan to work out when you're in the mood. The same strategy can work for other chores that need to get done regularly such as cleaning the house or paying bills.
2: Do chores or projects before or after your workout time🙆
- Doing chores or projects before or after your workout time will help you get them done. If you do them during your workout time, that is time that will be wasted. Make sure to get all of your chores and projects are done before starting your exercise. By doing this, you won't have any distractions while you are working out.
3: Get up an extra 30 minutes earlier to start your day😎
- Getting up an extra half hour earlier each morning can make a big difference in how well you start your day. You can use this time to set up your day, so you can spend your afternoon doing more important tasks. This is also a great time to exercise. You'll be able to get it out of the way first thing in the morning. and, You'll be more likely to accomplish what you set out to do because you've already started the day on a positive note.
4: Try new workout activities you enjoy🏋️
- Trying new workout activities can help you stay excited about your fitness routine. Even if you don't enjoy the activity, you will still benefit from it. Switching to a new activity will keep your workouts interesting and exciting.
