This sport is all about adversity and the last 72 hours have all been that. Our promotional company was left backs against the wall to find solutions at the 11th hour to both main event and co-main events falling out due to last minute immigration denial and travel complications. Thank to our tremendous determination and staff we pulled together an even better card within 24 hours. Thank you for the experience and knowledge, without you this wouldn’t have been possible. A big shout out goes to the Ontario athletics commission and the WBC-NABF for working late nights to pull this off. Tonight we will show why we are the marque professional boxing Promotor in Toronto. Only a few tickets left for walk-up before it’s sold out so do not show up late.

Amanda Galle (8-0-1 1KO) was just three weeks out from her fight when her opponents injury led to the card being postponed. With Galle’s experience, she won’t let this affect her preparation or performance on the night. Different date, but same plan for Galle, to win the World Title in front of her hometown fans.

Niorkis Carreno (24-3 19KOs) is coming to Canada to upset the hometown favourite. Previously, Carreno has challenged for the WBC Minimum title, WBO Flyweight title and most recently the WBO Bantamweight title.

Undefeated Super Lightweight prospect, Joshuah Lupia (12-0 10KOs) has been added to the card. Lupia will look to end the year with a fourth consecutive stoppage win.

Former World Champion challenger, Jessica Camara (11-4-0 2KOs) has also been added onto the December 10 card. Camara is currently ranked number 1 by the WBC in their Super Lightweight rankings.

Also, to feature on the card, is Canadian prospect Mohamed Zawadi (6-1 5KOs). Zawadi will be facing Gregory Miller (2-7 2KOs). Hard-hitting Stephane Fondjo (11-1 9KOs) is preparing for his Canadian debut. A rematch is on the card for Canadian Champ Ross Mylet (9-1-1 2KOs) and Luis Vara Carrillo (6-8-4 2KOs), a draw last timeout left fans and both fighters wanting the rematch. Undefeated Nawid Zaman (2-0 1KO) makes his first appearance on a Lee Baxter card.

Galle-Carreno Card Postponed till December 10 Due to Carreno’s Hand Injury

The Amanda Galle-Niorkis Carreno card in Toronto, Canada has been postponed due to Carreno sustaining a hand injury. The pair will now go head-to-head on December 10th for the vacant IBO World Bantamweight Title, the card was originally going to take place November 12th.

Lee Baxter Promotions is proud to announce our next event taking place at REBEL Entertainment Complex, in Toronto, on Sunday November 12. Amanda Galle will be headlining the event as she takes on Niorkis Carreno for the vacant IBO World Bantamweight Title.

Amanda Galle (8-0-1 1KO) has earned her shot at the World Title against Niorkis Carreno (24-3-0 19KOs), for the vacant IBO World Bantamweight Title. Galle has had an extensive career, winning numerous Canadian National titles as well as being 4-time Ringside World Amateur Boxing Champion, before moving into the pro ranks. As a professional, Galle remains undefeated and is the current Canadian Super Bantamweight Champion. Galle’s standout win for the Canadian Title against Tania Walters, who just challenged for the Super Bantamweight World Title, shows she’s ready to compete at World Level.

Hailing out of Trujillo, Venezuela, Niorkis Carreno is coming to Canada to upset the hometown favourite. Carreno has been competing at a world title level for several years now, challenging for her first World Title in 2018 for the WBC Minimum Title. Carreno has also challenged for the WBO World Flyweight Title and more recently the WBO World Bantamweight Title against Dina Thorslund. All though Carreno went the distance in all three of her World title bouts, she has stopped 19 of her 24 opponents, proving that she’s a clinical finisher.

Also on the card:
Mohamed Zawadi (6-1-0 5KOs) is back in action against Gregory Miller (2-7-0 2KOs).

A rematch between Ross Mylet (9-1-1 2KOs) and Luis Vara Carrillo (6-8-4 2KOs) is on the card. A draw last time out left the fans and both boxers looking for a rematch, they go toe-to-toe again.

Fighting at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre is pretty much as close to a home fight you’re going to get. My hometown is right over the boarder, I have a huge crowd coming out and have alot of friends from Canada that will be in attendance. I know it’s going to be a great night and I can’t wait to put on a show.”
