We’re inviting members of the community to this mixed Muay-Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Women’s Self Defense Workshop on Sunday, May 31 from 1:30-3:30PM with food and drink to follow prepared by a former head chef at Michelin-awarded restaurants.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTORS:
Belinda Wong is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over a decade of dedicated training and teaching experience. Her instruction emphasizes a deep understanding of fundamentals and core concepts, empowering students to adapt their jiu-jitsu to any situation—whether in live sparring or real-world self-defense scenarios.
Belinda firmly believes that jiu-jitsu is for everyone, regardless of background, age, or experience level. She is passionate about helping students develop practical self-defense skills alongside strong technical jiu-jitsu. One of the most rewarding parts of her teaching is watching students grow—not just in skill, but in confidence, awareness, and resilience—both on and off the mats.
Pete Arcalas has been coaching Muay-Thai in the GTA for over 20 years. He is committed to helping others develop a strong foundation and understanding of their capabilities to defend themselves. His various experience in the security industry allowed him to adapt and act to unpredictable situations
