According to an article written by The Star titled, "Canadians' legal will options, made easy" (2018) stated that an estimated 56% of Canadian adults do not have a will. And from this 56%, 88% are between the ages of 27 and 34.
Many people do not have a will because they are uncomfortable with mortality and dealing with a lawyer can be intimidating. It is not only the rich who have wills and estate plans. Anyone who has built wealth should have a say upon their passing exactly how their estate will be distributed.
There is an online option that starts as low as $16/month depending on age, smoking status and health conditions to name a few. It comes with life insurance for the funeral costs, a will, POA and HCD, online cloud storage called Tenzig and funeral concierge service at the time of need.
