🎉This year marked a huge milestone for me… 10 YEARS OF RACING! 🏁

Take a look back with me at the journey and how it all began! A decade filled with countless laps, hours of practice, unforgettable races, wins, losses, and so many incredible people along the way. From the sponsors, coaches, teams, and family who believed in me to everyone who has supported and encouraged me, and all the competitors I've shared the racetrack with, every one of them has helped shape my racing career and I want to say a huge thank you to them all.

It's been a journey filled with fun, hard work, and determination, with plenty of lessons learned along the way. Through the highs and lows, the goal has always been to keep learning, keep improving, and keep pushing forward, chasing the dream that started it all.

10 years down. I keep pushing! 🏁

One of my favourite on-track pics of the season, taken by Follow Me Photography. This was our very first race of 2026 and it's ironic how it actually captured the three cars who would go on to finish the season on the championship podium! Was it foreshadowing?🤔😆

Crazy eh Adam Cuthbertson & Caleb Drimmie ?

Our Walter, getting some love and attention this week at Baldwin Animal Hospital. All good, just checking out a minor issue while still in his birthday attire.😆🐾
If you are in Whitby and have a cat or dog, check them out! Our Walter has been going there since he was 2 months old and they are fantastic!

Our Friday Finish 📷 belongs to Walter🐾 the "Vizsla" who celebrated his 10th birthday 🎂October 20th and met the vet Dr. Dale at our Baldwin Animal Hospital location still dressed up from his party the day before!! This incredible breed the "Vizsla" are sporting dogs and their lively, gentle manner and affectionate nature make them amazing companions and family dogs. Walter🐾 won over the team ❤️ and he wins the distinction of best dressed, not a category we see often!!
Wishing Walter🐾 a wonderful birthday year!!

Lap 1, Turn 1 of our final race of the season🫣🏁

Took little damage actually but my car wouldn't start after this. Grateful for the JDC Motorsports team that jump-started me back to life and got me back out there to continue the championship fight.

What a way to close out the 2026 season at Peterborough Speedway in the Autumn Colours Classic!

Saturday's heat races didn't go my way, leaving me starting 12th for Sunday's final feature. This was a big deal as I was sitting 2nd in the overall standings trying to capture the championship and divisional title. Every point mattered!

Seconds after the 26 Legends took the green flag in the final, I was caught up in a multi-car crash in Turn 1 of Lap 1. My car took little damage but wouldn't restart, and I honestly thought my chances were over. Thankfully, the JDC MOTORSPORTS team refused to give up! After being pushed to pit road, several members of the team helped bump-start my car and got me back in the game... but now restarting at the back of the field.

With a few green laps I crawled back to P14, but another collision knocked me off track and sent me to the rear again. I put my head down and fought my way to a high of 6th place! Then the rain started, bringing out many caution laps while the track crew worked to dry the surface. There was a brief red flag to allow teams to clean visors & windshields but then we got back to green. I was ultimately shuffled back to 9th before the rain returned, bringing out a race-ending caution with 26 of the scheduled 40 laps complete. This finish was good enough for me to secure 2026 Series Vice-Champion & the 2026 Semi-Pro Divisional Title!

What started as a race that I thought was over on Lap 1 turned into a 59 minute fight to the finish, and I'm incredibly proud to come away with these results.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone on the JDC team for never giving up on pit road for that first incident. We joke that after all those attempts of heaving my car down pit road to restart it, we were going to need EMS assistance for the crew! 😂 But seriously, thank you for not giving up. You got me back out there and gave me that last opportunity I needed to finish and that meant everything to me.

Congrats to Adam Cuthbertson on the Series Championship and my teammate Caleb Drimmie on 3rd overall. And Congrats to my auto shop teacher and fellow competitor, Andrew McFadden who earned the Masters Championship!
