This race week, with Oshawa Animal Services, we have the cutest little bonded pair. Chewy is 3 years old and Daisy is 11 years old. They are looking for a home together. Chewy is a very friendly and confident young fellow. He greets everyone he meets and will roll over for belly rubs. Daisy is a little more reserved. She is hesitant meeting new people and relies on Chewy for confidence. Once she gets to know you, she is the sweetest girl. We think they would be fine with another dog their size. They would do best in a quiet home where their personalities can shine, and Daisy can relax and enjoy her golden years.

Awesome evening last night attending the preview event of Glow in the Wild at Toronto Zoo!! 💫

Our racing friend Norm Wallace from BC Race Cars, who is also a Toronto Zoo volunteer, was there too, and it was great to meet up with him and enjoy the event together.🏁

Glow in the Wild features a 1.5 km trail of incredible animal and nature-themed lanterns. It is a really really cool, immersive experience! 🦁✨

What a special day! With our 6th Annual Food Drive approaching quickly, I recently received an invitation from the fundraising team at Feed the Need in Durham to tour their facility and get a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work they do. They wanted to show us what happens to the donations from a food drive like ours once they’re delivered...and it was truly eye-opening!

I learned so much about how Feed the Need in Durham operates, from where their food comes from and what they purchase to help meet the needs of the community, to how everything is sorted, organized and prepared for distribution or made available through their onsite Market. Seeing the incredible team of volunteers in action and learning how much work goes into getting food out to the community gave me a whole new perspective on what happens after a food drive ends.

A huge thank you to Ryan and Carl for the invitation and for taking the time to show us around! This tour gave me an even greater appreciation for how much of a difference food drives can make in our community and for the enormous amount of work that goes into ensuring support reaches those who need it.

Awesome day meeting the guys at The Mars Collective! So many cool cars, but the highlight for me was definitely getting to ride along while we took their Jetbroker Ai Chiron to fill up. 🥵🤩😍

It was my very first ride in a Bugatti! WOW. What a car. What an experience! I’m still smiling and will never forget it.

These guys are awesome. Huge thank you for showing us around, sharing your collection, and giving me such an epic opportunity.

We were so preoccupied watching the weather for our race day last weekend that we forgot to post our race week dog from Oshawa Animal Services!! So let's do that now!

This week we have Sprout! She is a very goofy girl with tons of energy! She absolutely loves going on walks and running around in the yard. Since she is so excitable and doesn’t realize how big she is, no smaller kids are recommended for her. We think she would enjoy the company of another dog who can match her energy. Sprout would do well with an active family who will take her out for plenty of adventures and also let her curl up and be a couch potato at the end of the day.

Tonight, one of my sponsors, North Stream Safety and Rehab, was planning to come out to the track and bring along a family friend whose 7-year-old son is interested in getting into racing.

The hope was that we could all have a great night at the track, they could enjoy the race, ask questions about racing, and I could share some of my own racing experiences (I started when I was 7 as well!).

Unfortunately, with tonight’s race being cancelled, that part of the evening didn’t happen, but we still got together! We were able to chat racing, share some tips about getting started, and I was able to send the kids home with some racing swag. 🏁

It’s always awesome to share the sport I love with younger kids. Hopefully, we’ll see this racer on track someday soon🏁🙂
