😁Day 1: Straight to the Word😁
😶By definition forgive means, stop feeling angry or resentful toward (someone) for an offense, flaw, or mistake.
👉🏽I think that forgiveness is one of the hardest things to do, but is essential to living a VICTORIOUS life. On this journey called LIFE some have experienced hurt, sexual abuse, mental abuse, disrespect, and offence by some of our closest friends and family.
❌BROKEN! That is the word that comes to mind. When you live a life harbouring unforgiveness, you live a BROKEN life. Listen, living BROKEN is NOT God's plan. That is the plan of the enemy.
⚠️Most of the time the person you are holding in your heart has already moved on. Or sometimes doesn't even know they have hurt you. By holding this person, you are in turn holding yourself hostage from being healed.
😲The bible tells us to forgive 70 × 7!!!! Lord give us strength! How is that even possible! This devotion will teach why and how to fogive every offender in your life.
✍🏽Tonight, make a list of every person that you are holding in your heart. Every person you need to forgive.
🙏🏽Then I want you to pray this prayer:
"I FORGIVE (insert name) for causing me hurt. Today I begin the journey to heal and will not be held hostage by unforgiveness. Today healing takes place in my life from every act of hurt that (insert name) has caused. Because Jesus died on the cross I am free from the prison and bo***ge of unforgiveness. I take authority over this spirit of unforgiveness, I cast it out, and order it never to return in Jesus name.
