From slides & pools, to saunas, a public beach, cultural hub & parkland there’s something for everyone. Therme Canada at Ontario Place will be a fun, all-ages wellness experience with stunning indoor and outdoor pools, waterslides and a wave pool - all set in a lush, tropical environment. Open all year, there will be natural spaces to relax and wellness offerings to meet all needs - from saunas to

mineral pools, massage therapy and more. Delicious, healthy food is also a cornerstone of the Therme experience and guests can enjoy family meals, dinner with friends, and spectacular date-night getaways. Therme Canada will not only continue but improve the tradition of public access to Ontario Place with the creation of over 16 acres of public space. This will include a free-access public beach, park areas and an enhanced trail network. Everyone will benefit from improved access to the lake.

Therme Group has announced that building work has begun on its £450 million wellbeing resort in Manchester.

Therme Manchester will become the UK’s largest wellbeing resort when it opens at the end of 2028. It will combine nature, water and wellbeing with cutting-edge architecture and technology to create a year-round destination.

The resort will feature swimming and thermal bathing areas as well as spa and fitness zones. There will be immersive digital art and sustainable gardens, all designed to support health, happiness and social connection.

With a unique blend of wellness activities and experiences, Therme Manchester is being billed as a transformational destination for wellbeing.

Therme Manchester will combine hundreds of water-based activities with wellbeing treatments. The 65,000sqm design includes separate, connected structures immersed in a natural landscape.

A large family zone will include waterslides, a wave pool, indoor and outdoor pools, and relaxation areas. There will also be a dedicated adults’ area with warm-water lagoons, swim-up bars, mineral baths and heat experiences.

Daily programming will include water-based fitness classes, yoga and Pilates in the surrounding gardens.

Ground has been broken and the main construction phase is set to begin at the end of September with the official opening date due to be announced nearer the time.

What started as a local connection has grown into something much bigger. Over the years, we’ve teamed up with the community to bring meaningful wellness experiences to life - from intimate retreats to packed workshops at our flagship site.

In 2025, our relationship deepened as we began co-creating ways to integrate Unbounded’s powerful approach to nervous system care into the future of Therme - starting with Ontario Place and expanding globally.

The journey is just beginning, and we’re energized by the path ahead.
