11-weeks down, and I am so proud of what my online client, Jason @ has accomplished thus far! He is a dedicated father and husband with a full-time career, and juggled not just one but TWO life-changing moves in the span of a few weeks over the holidays. ⠀

1. Carbohydrates are going to make you fat⠀
2. Fats are bad for you⠀
3. You need to cut out sugar⠀
4. You need to “eat clean” to lose weight⠀
5. You can’t have food after 8:00pm⠀
6. You can spot reduce fat and just work on your core to get abs, or just triceps for that arm jiggle⠀
7. Cardio is the only way to lose weight⠀
8. Working out on an empty stomach burns more fat⠀
9. Lifting heavy weights will make you look bulky⠀
10. You have to workout everyday⠀

As everyone does, you’re likely reflecting back on 2020. You might have had some highs, some lows, and of course, everything in between, and guess what? You made it to the end of the year!⠀

I’m always one to embrace change, but this year was particularly challenging as time went on, having to accept and make the most out of the global pandemic. I learned that unemployment and self-employment are equally stressful and the latter is really hard work. I am, thankful, however, for everyone that has supported me along the way, from clients to family and friends, to acquaintances and the general public, your positive messages, and even the simplicity of a like or a share of a post means the world to me. ⠀

I also found a couple of things harder to put into practice, so I’m going to leave it here as a reminder. ⠀

☝🏻Be kind to myself. ⠀
✌🏻Know that it’s okay to work at my own pace, because sometimes, you really can’t rush the process. It’s a journey, not a race. ⠀

In just under 8-weeks, my client achieved incredible results with extremely limited home equipment. Her transformation wasn’t without its challenges and her journey wasn’t linear. She pulled long working hours while jumping head on into something new, but that clearly didn’t stop her, and I was there every step of the way to make sure she achieved her goals. ⠀

Will delaying your start date to January 1st mean you will reach your goals more efficiently and effectively? You know the truth, it doesn’t. 🤭⠀

Here are 3 tips to get you started: ⠀

💡 Identify your goals, and be specific! Ask yourself why these goals are important to you.⠀
⏳ Manage your expectations with achievable, realistic goals.⠀
